Ronnie McD on Radio Clyde 1st Nov

Postby Accies4ever » Sun Nov 02, 2014 7:45 pm

Did anyone catch the interview Vice Chairman Ronnie has with Hugh Keevins on radio clyde before the Partick game yesterday.

Although he had serious points to make, about Accies not getting the recognition they deserve and Accies players not getting similar (ie Ziggy getting called up for Scotland, etc), I though he didn't come across with credibility.

Usually Ronnie is very forthright and makes very good points, but I thought his tactic of "hinting" at things and then withdrawing those points when questioned on them, didn't do him credit and more importantly Accies.
He basically "danced" around the subjects.

I know he has a balance to maintain with his comments re: SFA, SPFL, etc, but he would have been far better making his points well considered and strongly, rather than coming out of the interview looking indecisive and in my opinion weak.

What are your thoughts?

Afraid not.

Checked Radio Clyde and Superscoreboard website.

Can't find a link.

Anyone else hear it.

It was transmitted about 2:45pm before the Accies V Partick game.

I heard it too and agree it wasn't the best interview Ronnie will do in his life.

Ronnie's shoot from the hip style is bound to miss the target sometimes.

I would ban him from buying the Daily Mail. It's enough to tip anyone over the edge.
