Any new manager suggestions if Canning went?

Postby Bluesy » Wed Jan 20, 2016 10:49 am

Until last night I was happy to keep going with Canning - changed my mind at 7-0 though.

Under 20s still going great so don't want too much change to the club ethos.

This makes me think - keep Canning as a player and coach and get a new Manager...

...but I just can't think of anyone!

Really don't think that Canning's assistants should be considered.

On another note - it isn't a disater yet (when we were getting pumped like this in the late 80s we were down and out - nowhere near that yet). Happy to concede however that I was wrong and no change will probably result in us going down.

I like the big guy I really do, always thought he was a 100% committed player that would run through a brick wall.

Also truly believe he never really wanted the job, but this cant go on.

Would anyone consider Derek Ferguson? ex player so fits the ethos, also see's us most weeks and has a very good understanding of our strengths and weaknesses. Also has experience as a manager albeit not fantastic.

Couldn't be any worse.
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

Darren Young from Albion Rovers would be a good choice

cant see the board brining in an 'outsider' which kind of leaves Beuzelin. Or Victoria the Physio
