Well done mate; you must have looked at the 'serious debate' thread and thought that's not really for me, and you are right.

Just posting the post match comments from Mr Cantzo , there were plenty of people leaving the ground today who wanted to know what he would say so it deserves a topic of its own .

Please avoid creating multiple threads on the same topic. This is unnecessary and merely serves to clutter the forum and scatter any discussion on the topic.

This post is valid the fans need to know what the gaffer has to say.

He said he turned around the last slump. I would say he caused this one and the last slump. We did not turn it around more end of the year and teams who were safe not trying or playing squad players IMO.

Martins’ comments after the game from the BBC web site.

Hamilton manager Martin Canning was dismayed by his team's lacklustre display.
"From our point of view obviously massively disappointing, but I must say I thought Annan played well and deserved the victory," Canning said.
"Our boys know they should be embarrassed by the performance. Performance levels have been good; that there isn't acceptable.
"I think the goals we conceded are really poor. We didn't dictate the game enough. We didn't get on the ball and be brave to play.
"I expected to come down here, us to control the game, control the ball. We had to deal with what they had which was turning the ball forward and we didn't deal with that at all."

From the BBC web site.

"But I'm not considering my own position. I still believe I can turn this team around. I proved it last season when we came out of the bad run we were on then.
"I'll obviously speak to the board and we will discuss it but at the minute I just want to focus on working hard."

Still think he will be there next Saturday. His comment doesn't imply the board has asked to speak to him rather he will meet them as he does routinely to consider the game.

I do feel the players are definitely not playing for canning which is a strange one maybe he had been to close to them over the years as he doesn't get the same commitment as Alex got if there is a change what I really doubt I hope there is a place for canzo at the club as he had been a good player and seems to do well enough with the youth teams etc if there was a change I think we could do a lot worse than allan Johnstone at dunfermline but we couldn't afford to get him more than likely plus he doesnt seem like the type of lad who would like the interference from les etc

Yips his weekly meeting to be told what team he is playing on Saturday.

I agree that we should look after him and keep him at the club in some capacity. I also have stated that we need him on the park just now! You never know Bozey may do the job on the touch line where canning can be the experience on the park the defence needs.
