Scottish Cup Draw

Annan or Inverurie away. New ground + good day out + should go through = great draw. I'd prefer Inverurie simply because it's more bizarre.

I’ll take that thank you very much. Been to annan a couple of years ago and since then they have covered over one end behind the goals. A tidy ground so wouldn’t mind going back. Been to Inverurie the town but not the ground so wouldn’t complain about an away trip there either. However given the time of year if there is snow wouldn’t fancy Inverurie. More likely to go ahead if annan so I’m hoping for annan :)

Great draw for a change, would prefer inverurie, but would be happy enough with Annan never been to either.

Annan is the only league ground we haven't played a competitive match on, so it would be nice to go there. Artificial surface too so unlikely to be off. While Inverurie would be a good day out, I echo Alfie Olek's worries about the weather at that time of year. Annan is also about 15 miles from my house, so another plus point there! :D

42? There are only 41 senior league grounds in Scotland.

For the record, I've only seen us play competitive fixtures at 36 of them (Annan would be 37), but I've also been to see us at eleven former senior league grounds.

Mostly happy times also at Love Street, Brockville, Boghead, Bayview,Annfield, Firs Park and even Lesser Hampden, wheer I seem to remember seeing Accies playing (a cup tie?) when Hampden was being redeveloped. Never saw Accies at Cathkin Park, though!!

Bring on the tie at Annan... have passed the wee ground last year, but like many, never been, so fingers crossed.

Yep - YeOldeHamiltonian, which was why I posted.

And of course, plenty of us have been to old grounds and to non league grounds too (but that wasn't the point).

Well Annan it is then. looking forward to this. Artificial pitch so no advantage either team. Not sure the capacity, maybe an all Ticket game.

Capacity at Galabank is 2,504 according to Wikipedia
No info on capacity that I can find on Annan's own website - record attendance was 2,517 vs Sevco in 2012

Plenty room for all I'd think.

Unless they split the stand, there is no cover for visiting support, just an open terrace behind the goal. Less than 300 there last night, didn't notice any visitors at all.
