Cantzo must go, he is only there as a yes man and a cheap option; he doesn't know how to set up a team. He was never the right man and Les lacks ambition and that's why we have a team of anonymous foreigners who are only here cos they are cheap.

I can't see us winning anymore games this year, that was a fluke. I heard that Alex Neil picked the team and Boozy did all the coaching and tactics. Martin is a nice guy but never a manager.

Yes you are so manly. No one questioned your masculinity, perhaps you have your own doubts, but don't worry everything will be fine once you sort yourself out.

So are Martin and Les to be told that they did well today but goodbye ? Are you sticking to your guns or not?

Anything less than a win at home to league-leaders Hearts next week will see the critics in full voice again.

Meanwhile, credit to the OP for this thread, but I can't help thinking he was getting his retaliation in first.

Is it too soon to say the appointment of Martin Canning has been vindicated?

Well is Martin still a useless yes man that needs to be sacked? followed by the board? and we will get nowhere without more 'ambition'?

I think you would come out of this with much greater credit if you were able to admit that your previous highly critical comments were, in fact, a misjudgement of the team, the manager and the board.

If you could do that, it would go a long way to defusing some of the tension here.

Just a thought.

Well done to Les and Martin indeed.

They both kept their bottle and saw us thro bad results and uber critical comments on this board and beyond.

Still a long way to go and we will have good days and bad days; and our great start could fade a bit as its all about tight margins in this league and the odd bit of luck or injuries can be significant.

The clubs is doing great on the park, is financially secure and has a infrastructure to be proud of with guys like Docherty and Lyon looking like the next guys to make the breakthrough. ICT don't even have a youth policy that is fit to even fill a bench for them today.

Yeah think it defo needs to be said, well done Martin for turning it around and H9crx for your reaction to it.

Normally forum members just sulk and are never seen again if proven wrong and there are other Accies who are doing just that.....

Surely time to revoke Park Materson's ban? He'll be bursting to praise Cantzo.

To be fair, H9crx was far from the only critic, and I think the only one so far to publicly eat his words.

Just about a quarter way through the season, sitting joint third, and unbeaten at home. A bit of depth in the squad, two or three unfit players still to come in, and we've probably yet to see the best of some of the new faces in the team. And the assembly line of young talent rolling on. It's a remarkable story.

Who still thinks we are one of the favourites for relegation? Like last season, we're setting up a situation where we'll be disappointed to finish outside the top six. Heady times to support Hamilton Accies, and who's to say we've peaked yet? Bring on the Celtic.

H9crx was far from being the only critic and fair play for appearing whilst others are absent. But his latest admission is like Hitler finally agreeing the war was over only as the Russians approached the bunker; and his recognition of this having the due prominence of a Sun apology on page 40 in small print after a false page one splash.

Also remember it wasn't just Canning who got the full and prolonged treatment; Les and the board got it for months and the hugely successful ethos of the club was turned something to be ashamed of; prudent financial management treated like joke. And it couldn't just be things not working out, it had to be a deliberate attempt by the club to go back down by appointing a cheap yes man. We were just a pub team with no ambition and no goals.

And it wasn't just a difference of opinion either - those supporting Canning (or at least giving him time to prove himself) were lambasted as 'happy clappers' etc.
