As just now two wins on the bouce would out do any thing he has done already.

Or winning a game befour it get in to double figures would be a start

Hay what about we start with a Goal befour we look at Gr8 runs.

H9 the best thing to do here would just be bite the bullet, hold your hands up, and have a chuckle at yourself.

All things considered, a very good start to the league. With a bit of luck against Partick we would have 9 points, and if Crawford scores that penalty at Dingwall...

Pleasing.

Canning keeps his feet on the ground: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34031060

He's right. It's still all about avoiding relegation, and anything else is a bonus. Worth remembering we haven't played the top three yet, and the only other top six side we've played beat us.

Next week's game will give us a better idea of how our season is likely to pan out - hopefully a full squad to choose from (bar long-term injury Devlin), home advantage, and on the back of two confidence-boosting wins with clean sheets. It's still a game most neutrals will expect us to lose, but if we can get a result, that would be a marker that we can do better than just avoiding relegation.

To be fair its a number of bullets - no wins for the rest of the YEAR, Canning out, Board out and splash the cash. For me if those views were at all valid 2 weeks ago then surely 2 wins doesn't change what were portrayed as genuine thoughts on the total infrastructure at the club?

After the last 3 league results surely it's now time for us all to look forward and get behind the new management. Well done Canzo!

To be fair he is not the only one who must look at this thread (and indeed other posts) and wonder if they really gave Martin a fair chance both to him personally as a long serving and popular player during a wildly successful time for Accies; and secondly on what basis did they have to show complete distrust and indeed aggression towards the managerial decision making of the board.

I stated in Jan that Canning was a Yes Man appointment and was shot down in flames.

We know it's true.

How can A inexperienced manager be expected to develop young inexperienced players.

Yes, previous discussions being brought up is really not cricket

He must have the worst managerial win ratio in the whole of the scottish game. Whats the stats now? Played how many?
Joke appointment.

Perhaps as the author of this sorry thread, some comment is also due from you?

PS The free spending, example to us all :D - Dundee - have won only 2 games in the their last 13 competitive games -W2 D2 L9.

PPS Partick Thistle have not won in their last 9 games D5 L4

PPPS Hearts have won 24 of their last 27 games against Accies. All 3 wins have come in 2009(2) and now in 2015 - within the current regime in other words.

PPPPS ICT have not won a game all season - which is 8 games for them.

Still - you can prove what you want with mere FACTS; but that looks like we might be competitive this season.

5 weeks really is a long time in football it would appear :D

Funny how even during its height the feeding frenzy on Canning never really threw up many people willing to put their head up and nominate anyone else. The only 2 names I remember mentioned were Ian Murray and Stuart McCall :D
