Utter shambles. Pub teams are better organised at getting strips. Is there any other team in Britain who wear a mix of makers as their first team kit? Well there goes my boy getting a new top, not buying that cheap crap again this season.

I seriously can't believe the club could be so amateurish over the kit so here's an other theory that i really hope is the answer. The Adidas tops are not ready so they printed up a few old tops just for the press. Please be true

I returned that top last year straight away as the quality was so poor. Adidas must be capable of providing a decent red and white hooped top. Just another embarrassment from the commercial (ha ha!) team at the club.

Looking back at the strips, and this might be my imagination, but I'm not even convinced that the red on the shorts is the same shade of red on the tops. It looks a lot deeper red on the tops than the shorts where it looks almost a dark shade of pink. Surely it's my imagination?

I was looking forward to getting the new home top with adidas making it only to find out the top is staying the same very poor from accies and pretty embarising for an SPL side with shirt and shorts from different companys

From the view expressed on acciesworld and pie and bovril, the consensus of opinion is that the new strip is pretty poor.

I tend to agree that mixing and matching the brands looks pretty amateur.

The german away kit is adidas and its hooped. So adidas obviously do a hooped kit.

Its a shame was looking forward to having adidas as the kit supplier.

Personally I think the two of them look good!what does it matter if the shirt is made in house and the shorts by Adidas?everybody seems to have gone a bit Gok Wan!!!if you like it buy it!if not?.....buy it any way,and support our club.also good news on the upcoming on-line shop,it only took about 10 years or so!

If you notice, Mcgoverns kit is Adidas... Surely his kit wouldn't be different from the outfield players. My guess is old kit used for photos. Would have been nice to be told though!!.....

Guys lets be real that top IS what will be worn this year, no way there is another waiting in the wings.

Shame as I quite like it, shorts are good touch.

You are right, however Adidas is a much more distinctive brand of jersey via the 3 lines etc whilst Nike was very much in the background - the shorts are now quite clearly adidas via the red lines. To give the clear impression it was going to be new and then just have a change of sponsor is poor stuff. Also I think everyone accepted last year was a bit of a stop gap with the 'Accies 1874' logo presumably as Nike didn't offer a suitable hooped kit? To then go for a totally new kit provider and choose one which doesn't / couldn't offer a hooped one seems strange; however they could still have went for a new version of the 'Accies 1874' at a push or they could have done what every other clubs seems to manage and get a kit provider that does the whole job.

This season it looks we will have Adidas & 'Accies 1874' kit alongside old Nike training stuff. Most people so inclined would have bought a brand new home top and brought money in; whilst hardly anyone will buy it purely to have Nevis on the front.

I might be wrong but I don't think there was ever a new home top planned.i think the problem arose when m&h logistics bought airdrie therefore leaving us with no main sponsors.hence leaving us with a new old kit!

Can't justify spending £40 for the same top with a different sponsor.. can anyone? Would be very surprised if that's what they tried to charge us

I not understand this fixation over strips. As long as it's red and white hoops couldn't care less who makes it.

Doncaster Rovers managed a pretty decent looking kit. Always thought thicker hoops would look good, and you know what, THEY DO!

The current one can hardly be described as hooped, the back is almost entirely white; the Doncaster example is the Bullseye style example of 'here's what you could have had'.
