Q have this BOD taken the club as far as they can on the ethos?

We don't want much as fan but we want consistency, ambition and accountability of actions. I feel we have none of this with the curent BOD.

Yes we are finically stable, but we have also wasted a lot of money which could have been better used .
For example
Not spending money in jan has lost us top six gate money and prise money it could also get us relegated.

It will cost a lot to get rid of this manegment team!

Scatter gun approch to signing of no name players over the duration of the board ( apart from AN time in charge) wasted money.

Can we not be run sensibly but with some ambition! The arrogance of thinking that we could not drop out the top six is why the decision was made for this cheep shambolic Manegment team. Religation is a possibility and the BOD need to be held accountable!

Yes the manager hasn't worked out. They, like the rest of us hoped it would work and made the choice for very valid reasons. Im sure you have made a choice to in business or life that hasn't worked.

They should make a change soon (now) and continue with good work they are doing with this small community club.

For as much as we are totally disgruntled with Canning & Co, the true blame and accountability does lie with the BOD.

I have to say I have some sympathy with park materson's view WILF. You surely can't be happy with the current situation we find ourselves in?

Of course I'm not. 2015 has been a massive disappointment which has resulted in our most amazing season ever fizzling out in a sad and disappointing manner.

That said I'm pragmatic enough to realise that the club has lost 4 of its main assets in a very short space of time, a situation which any team would struggle to recover from.

On the park just now it's not going our way but I've not lost confidence in those running the club at all as they have proved over a long period of time that they know the business and will make the right decisions for a successful accies. Six months of pain is something we need to deal with and then we will come back fighting again.

Canning will get better as he finds his managerial style as will the rest of the backroom team. Canning. Swailes, Imrie, Boozy and Potter will be hurting as much as we are. I believe they will turn it round.

So in summary massively disappointed about how our season has ended up but positive about the future!!

That Canning will get better is the nub of it Wilf. I just can't see it I wasn't impressed by his appointment, as even as captain I never saw the leader on the field and I don't see evidence of improvement. I accept he was not dealt a decent hand of cards losing key players but even with what he has I would have expected better against the bottom teams.

Seriously, you could give Canning and his backroom goons the 14 years that RAW1874 (and 2 others) wish to give him, and he'll achieve the same as he has already done.....f**k all.

It's not Canning's fault, some people make good managers, some make terrible managers. Canning is the latter.
The smartest thing all round is to realise it as soon as possible and to rectify the situation.

After all don't we all want what's best for our team?
