What an amazing start, two up in thirteen minutes. Oli's chip over the advancing keeper hitting the post and Scott Robinson tapping in a debut goal then a great corner from Smith and a cracking Lamie header in off the post. Todorov playing well up front with Shaw, more of this please. Queen's dominated at times especially in the first half but we had numerous promising moments that failed to live up to expectations. Right up to end, with the excellent Robinson running through one on one and only hitting the keeper. Ferrie had a superb save from a Shaw curler.

I'm not sure all of Rankin's changes worked, I'd have kept Toddy on for a bit longer. Gallacher, fair enough, first game for a while but Bradley was doing well and looked unhappy to be going off. McKinstry worked hard but again failed to really test the defence. O'Hara had a terrible few minutes when he came on but worked away and did his bit. Quite why Tumilty wasn't used escapes me. A falling out?

A lot of good performances. Lyness handled everything well; a good, solid debut from Gallacher and Smith was a bit better than of late. No failures at all. Much needed especially as the other results were a bit disappointing.

Off the pitch is a mess but you know what? On the pitch has been positive over the last seven days. Last week away to St Johnstone we did well and should have taken a premiership side to extra time. Today, a deserved win against a team who beat rangers last week and two good debuts, especially Robinson. Best player on the park today. When the lineup was announced I, like most, couldn’t work it out but at the end of 90 minutes we have three massive points. Onwards to Greenock on Tuesday night.

Couldn’t make the game but delighted with a crucial three points.

Feared the worst when i saw the line up. Did we play McGuire in a back three or at right back in a back four? Either way, I would have thought that might have left a bit of a soft middle of the park, but obviously not. A lot of work for McDonald?

All the teams around us seem to be picking up points, so vital win. Well done all.

A welcome win which could have been more, but after the last League away win at Airdrie, we never kicked on.

Three games coming up against sides round about us:Morton,Raith Rovers and Dunfermline will tell us if things have changed or if this good performance was a false dawn.

Oh and McGowan and Tumilty were part of the 4 who stood up to Rankin and Strain.

Well done Accies. Can’t fault attitude. Todorov chased and kicked everything and anyone. Bradley defended superbly. Maguire filled in well in about his 5th different position this year. Lammie and McGinty played well. Gallagher excellent considering lack of match practice. Liked Smith as anchor midfielder - he saw a lot more of the ball, which is what he needs. MacDonald ran himself into the ground. But, Robinson was Man of the Match. Watched him closely. He tracks back well. And finds pockets of space. Reads the game very well. Congratulations when due. Well done John R.

Maguire in a three, Bradley at RWB, though it could sometimes look like a four depending on Bradley's positioning. As said above, Smith was deeper and put in a terrific energetic performance.

Smith McDonald and Robinson all put in a power of work to be fair. Pass marks for everyone, a while since we could say that.

An unexpected but very welcome and much needed three points. More of the same over the next few games would be massive!
