Scottish Cup

Bet this'll be a long thread! We've been drawn away to Banks O'Dee so that makes a nice change.

Capacity under 900, so could be a scramble for tickets.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this is a TV game and they are no mugs as I watched the highlights of them defeating East Fife yesterday.

Potentially a decent away trip. Hope we take it seriously and give the fans something to enjoy . Good chance to progress though totally agree it won't be anything like an easy game

BoD also have an impressive website which is light years ahead of anything we have produced since time began. Bound to be an all ticket game, too. They are playing well, scoring loads of goals, and just cannot be underestimated by our management team here. Remember Buckie!!!! (& that's not the green bottled drinking stuff that will be taken along by some  )

There are so many possible so-called minnows we could get in the fourth round that Rankin has to put out the strongest side available to him. Stuart Taylor didn't at Auchinleck and we suffered another humiliation. This must be stressed to him. It could be the Friday night TV game but I've a feeling they'll go for Dundee North End v Airdrie.

2-1 win looks a close run game. Was it usual Accies inability to kill a team off?

Nope, it was the usual second half collapse and the second half performance was disgraceful.

Only rank bad finishing by the home side stopped them getting a minimum of a draw and they could easily have scored 3 or 4 in a second half where I can’t remember us even having a shot at goal.

McKinnon up to his usual arguing with fans second half and once again not even a Sub appearance for Liam Morgan.

The fans booed us off at the end which tells it’s own story.

Yeah, lucky win and not convincing… Shaw is a class act ie he can score ….and might just save us this year…. But seeing no progress on performance and results

Thanks, both, for the 2 am posts :D
Looks like it could have been another Auchinleck or Buckie disaster from what you say. Monday's next round draw team is normally our last game in the Scottish Cup, season after season. Might 2025 be any different?

Home to sixth tier Musselburgh Athletic. They are currently top. No excuses, we have to win this.

The draw has been very kind to us. Theoretically we could win and draw another team from a lower league in the next round, but more likely to get a either a championship or premier team. I'm sure the board will be hoping for a big away day, unless we can ger diddy teams all the way to hampden.
