I’ll be there before flying home on Monday. Tying it in with a night over in Edinburgh and I’ve found myself excited for the weekend minus 3-5pm. Such a big game where I feel we need to take something (even a draw) or we will end up sucked into an early season dog fight.

It would be nice if we started with a team full of players playing in their correct positions.

After last weeks poor performance, I am expecting another one at weekend

Raith new manager now in place for a few weeks and I think this is his 1st home league game. And of course any time a team a needs a result they want to play Accies, so ensure they get one

2-0 Raith, followed by Rankrotten coming out with the usual pish, we lose 2 poor goals with some poor defending, but the boys gave it their all

Would be nice to see the team set out with an attitude to go and win the game, instead of just trying not to lose it.

That team selection and line up does not suggest to me that we have a manager with a clear idea of what his best team is and how he wants them to play. Really hope I'm wrong but i am dreading this. Rankinball in coming!!!

Wow. This half can’t end fast enough. Horribly set up and the players look absolutely out there.

I had a the pleasure of watching this from the RR main stand as I was with a fifer friend. I am still in disbelief that we’ve managed to come away from that game with anything. That’s possibly the worst I’ve seen us in quite some time. Fair play to Oli Shaw. He’s going to be an integral part to our survival this season.

As a pal put it, "worst comeback ever". We were dross, mainly thanks to Rankin's inept selection. Three in midfield just doesn't work in this league. A little bit better in second half but I felt the stuffing was knocked out of us with their third. Only positive is we kept plugging away and maybe a bit of luck on our side. Todorov and Bradley made their presence felt, especially Todorov at the very late corner. But the applause at the end wasn't for you, John. A bit of humility wouldn't have gone amiss. That point was despite you, not because of you!

“Worst comeback ever” sums it up perfectly. We absolutely stole a point. Very undeserved but we’ll take it.

We had four shots in the game, one being our penalty, three went in and we celebrated our first shot from open play like a goal such was the performance.

A raith supporting pal says it was never a penalty so might be interesting to see it back. He claims the player clearly played the ball. Hard to tell from so far away.

Williamson so so poor yet again. I fail to see what he brings to the team. He even seems to purposely get out the way and hide at times. Genuinely worse than a man down in my opinion. Sooner McDonald is back in there the better. If it’s a long term injury I’d like to see Maguire get a chance in there.

The result and comeback shouldn’t paper over the cracks however. It was a very poor performance and we are now one win in seven league games. For a team with aspiration of promotion it’s not nearly good enough.

MacDonald has a broken foot apparently so doubt we'll see him until New Year. Raith had only scored one goal before today, the penalty that beat Patrick. I felt sorry for our defence as our midfield were two men short ( it should've been a four and Williamson was useless).
