Why, oh why, have we released a statement to say we aren’t going to play Tait again but are still sorting it out with Hibs. It shines an incredibly poor light on the kid that he’s been bombed out before we’ve even terminated the loan. My fear is that Hibs may not go through with the termination leaving us paying the % we signed up for. We will soon be blacklisted from half of the premier league for loan deals.

Onto the decision, I don’t feel Tait ever impacts the game as much as his ability should. Definitely something in there but it doesn’t quite translate onto the park. I’d be happy to have him around if he was one of our own but probably the right choice to punt. Is there attitude issues here given the wording of the statement?

He got subbed a few games back ,and had words with Rankin on the way off ,probably because hez to good for Accies in his mind ,no great loss ,

Another shambles today.

Matchday tweet out at 11.15 presumably whilst pitch inspection is ongoing. Less than 10 minutes later that tweet deleted and game postponed tweet put out.

Can’t argue with the decision but the way it has been announced is poor. Simple terminated loan would have sufficed.

Tait is someone I do think will go onto have a good career. He definitely worked better in midfield with Martin in the side but when asked to do a bit more of the defensive work he struggled. Like Henderson I don’t think Rankin is using him to his best position. I have the fear he ends up at F*lKirk as McGlynn seemed to be the best manager for him when at Raith Rovers and knows how to utilise him properly.
