v Edinburgh FC Saturday 21st October

Lethargy creeping in on the game?? No advance posts on this forum. Should be a comfortable home win. Last two games we have scored five goals. Any advance on that?

It will be interesting to see who starts up front and other than that I can't see many changes from the league starting line ups

They had one shot and scored. We had umpteen corners and goalmouth scrambles and couldnt cope with their back four . No ideas to overcome their offside tactics.

Corner kicks are a shambles. Either punt it into the middle and hope for the best, and they're often overhit, or play it short. Never one our many tall players making a run to near post to flick on. What do they do all week in training? Surely it's time to start McGlynn and Lewis?

Now that was a disaster today. So far ahead in the first half with only one goal to show for our efforts. They change their shape after half time and we loose all urgency and fluency thereafter. One break-away and we loose two points.

As SC posted, what on earth do the team practice during the week with corners? Suggest JR leaves O'Hara on the bench for next game, as he's not a winger either.

A really poor result, with little or no guile to exploit the poorest team in this league. Don't think the point they got today will save them from relegation, but it will show others in League 1 that we are not a good as we thought we were. OK, still unbeaten, but to loose two points at home????

Countless wasted opportunities to have the game won early in the first half. Our total lack of ability to convert chances has been a common theme throughout our season so far and today it finally bit us in the proverbial. You don't win games if you can't score goals!

A totally gutless performance in the second half, with a team clueless in how to break down a basic defensive set up. Got hit on the counter and the heads dropped, which for me is the unacceptable part of us dropping points. Complete lack of direction from the dugout also which is why we got what we deserved.

We have no right to expect to beat teams and have to be up for it and ruthless every minute of every game. The reaction by the crowd at the end said everything.

Awful. Poor decision making throughout the first half so any 'chances' made were lost! Second half - devoid of ideas - then bring on all our forwards at once and that led to even more confusion as there was no game plan. What do we do in training throughout the week??

Disappointing game on Saturday. I don't think we are far away from being a really good team but there was a real lack of creativity and width against Edinburgh in that second half.

MacDonald and Martin will boss most games at this level. The defence is solid enough, Barjonas and Henderson have some lovely touches. Not quite clicking upfront and wonder if it would be worth tweaking the system slightly? I appreciate that's probably not going to happen with Rankin pretty set on the current system. Could do with an old fashioned winger, or at least someone with pace, who can beat a man and open up the opposition defence.
