Social Media

As many accies fans have access to social media these days, we’re all beginning to see the unprofessionalism between the 2 Facebook pages we have. First of all many fans contacted our old Facebook (Hamilton Academical FC) asking is to what was happening with the page. From what was gathered it was said the stadium had taken over that account and we had been given a new account named, Hamilton Academical Football Club 1874.
The same thing has also happened on Twitter, nothing is being said about it and it’s really starting to get on my nerves, as many others agree. I believe using an account for blameless/stadium posts under the clubs name is a form of impersonation. Hopefully it’s all resolved soon.

The Stadium Company Facebook page(Hamilton Academical FC) are now deliberately angering both fans and the new Football Club Owners(their page is Hamilton Academical 1874 which is the official Football info page) by deliberately publicising the Clyde away game at East Fife this Saturday and not the Accies home game.

Unsurprisingly, the Stadium Company are heavily publicising The Fireworks Night which is still two months away.

What a club when the current Owners have to set up a new Facebook page when The Stadium Company are using the official, original Football Page...not forgetting the TWO Twitter pages also ffs.
