That is a shock! An un-Accies style bit of good news. Scott and Lee Kilday should provide a core of experience in this league. A very promising start.... Has the heat gone to my head?

Good news coming from Accies!! Shocker!!

Unexpected news but absolutely delighted. I thought he’d get another championship team no problem. Possibly even bottom of the premiership team. He’d be my captain next year. With Kilday signed and now Scott re-signed a good spine is forming. A good proven striker too please Accies.

Terrific news and a stand-out Captain who shows 100+% commitment in every game. A shining example of what we will need more than ever with a lot of youngsters likely to be playing first team football next season.

Marley Redfern hoping to be fit by July. Says he’s the only one on the injury list so what about Jamie Hamilton?

Jamie wage theif, step up or get out before the season starts. Got to question his motivation.

Hamilton was injured playing for accies. His injury was then misdiagnosed or mistreated by accies physios and the injury was made worse. He’s a young guy who had a bright future and is trying to make a career or of playing football. To call him a wage thief is disgraceful.

Im aware of the circumstances, and no doubt the club failed. Sorry if you think my view is harsh, can only comment on what iv seen/heard from the player.

Jamie's problems stem from not training last summer. Turned up at St Mirren for a couple of days and binned. Ended up back with us and no pre season done.

That was then, but what about now?? It's a year on. Hamilton is either now fully fit or permanently gubbed. Surely, one or the other?

Not allowed to train in case he got injured and accies lost out on transfer money. C’mon, a young lad just wants to play football, right? We’re not talking about a pampered prima donna superstar on a £100k a week with a petted lip here. Give the guy a break and hopefully he will be back next year.

I’m wondering about the Fulton to Portsmouth rumour. They have already signed 5 players so are active and their first signing was a keeper from Burnley on a 3 year deal. I would have thought if all done and dusted and we were keeping him injury free he would have gone early doors.

Jackson Longridge next in the door filling the left back position. Good signing he has been playing at A fairly high level for the last few years and at 28 should be near his peak.
