Airdrie v Accies

Really need a big turn out for the two forthcoming Finals.

If you call yourself an Accies fan you will make the effort to attend these two momentous games. Not attending because of The Board/McGowan won't wash here as this team is up against it and the team-not the Board- need the backing despite what Club Officials have been saying on Twitter/LinkedIn today.

Airdrie will be favourites, but they concede a helluva lot of goals playing against dung-meat in that League.Keep it tight at the back and we can prevail.

And therein lies the problem. Our defence is shocking to say the least and Airdrie seem to score plenty of gols, albeit in league 1

Airdrieonians are Division Ones’ goal machine with 81 goals then it’s Falkirk with 70 and the Pars on 63. In term of goals conceded Airdrieonians 51 is about middle for the league. Based on our season not 70 plus minutes yesterday then Airdrieonians edge it for me. However maybe just maybe something in some of the players mentality changed yesterday. Meanwhile off the park,Mcgoofeys’ propaganda machine has pumped up the volume. Mini Mcgoofey thinks there should be a statue to Mcgoofey at the front of the stadium    and owner of Stein Electrical a stadium advertiser warns fans to be careful what they wish for as he and others are only there cos of Mcgoofey   Somebody called Sean Fagan surely not the stadium commercial manager is posting abusive tweets and Richard Gordon on Sportsound this afternoon couldn’t mention our tie against Airdrieonians with referencing the alleged abuse received by our manager. Anybody mention the fans protest or our horrendous season no.

Shiels in at left back over mimnaugh. I didn’t rate him but our form did dip with him getting injured and he looked good when he came on against Alloa.

Fulton back in goal. We all know he isn’t injured. To not play our best keeper, by a distance, just in case he gets injured would be crazy.

And if you can make it, please do. I know we have a lot of lapsed fans at the moment. Please try to make it to this one. Despite the horrendous season we have had, somehow, we are still in it and fighting to survive.

Airdrieonians site says
Please note that this is an all-ticket match.

I assume that means you have to buy online. nNo mention of a ticket office facility at the ground.
