Uh oh! Potential humiliation. Again. Great incentive for Messers Hughes and Munro. But really, if we can't beat them it's time to pack it in.

EK are currently second top of the Lowland League with Rangers B top. But the current form table has them mid table with 2 wins,2 draws and 2 losses. It’s a home tie so surely we can manage a win :?:

Buckie Thistle (to be fair a few years ago), Auchinleck and Annan. EK Thistle will inevitably soon be on that inglorious list. Where will it all end, I wonder.

I never thought Buckie was that bad, admittedly I wasn't there, but they were only technically one tier below us and we recovered well to win the Third Division. Annan, of course, have beaten us twice while we were three leagues above them. Far, far worse.

I was a Ballboy at that Keith game and still remember to this day Neilly Howie missing in the last minute right in front of me after we had scored to bring it back to 3-2.

I was, SC, and we were outfought and outplayed by a team of part-timers that wanted the win far more than we did.
Thinking about it, a bit like going to both Annan and Auchinleck and seeing the same lack of performance from Accies.

Let's look at the positives this time. No where near as far to go to the K Park if there's a replay :D

We were in the bottom division so I'd imagine we were part-time too, I honestly can't remember for sure.. Losing 4-1 to Annan while in the Premier was so much worse, no other top tier club would have come close to a thrashing like that.

Took in EK v Berwick Rangers today. Who comes in after me but our Manager (& son) complete with writing pad & pen. Presumably the game v Dundee next week is seen as a lost cause, or funds unavailable to re-imburse JR after the trip to Dee & back home?

Anyway, Kilby have tall defenders, a hard working midfield, and pretty efficient forwards. Oh, and they're pacy too, on astroturf. I left at 4-0 for EK. going on 5, which was the final result.

Nothing to fear then in two weeks in the Scottish Cup??? AAARGHH!!!

And this cup tie kicks off at 14.30 (2.30pm) according to Kilby's announcer. He was SOO much more professional than whoever's pal was wheeled out on Friday. That was just another public embarassment, especially on TV.

Typical Accies, not making it crystal clear that you can pay at the gate. I assume you can.

Injury update so no Doyle or Lawson for Saturday and Lawson is out for a few weeks. Plus it’s clear we want be seeing Either Jamie Hamilton or De Bolle anytime soon.

We’ll be without Steve Lawson for a spell as revealed today that he has a foot injury and is wearing a protective boot.

Jamie Hamilton and Lucas De Bolle have both had MRI scans and remain unavailable.

Doyle also misses out the game vs EK due to a previous suspension.

Well no banana skin. After a tight first half we were too strong for EK. Positives we are through to the next round, Andy Ryan hat trick, a goal for young One, and the 50/50 draw result was published again on the Twitter feed  The Hampden dream is still alive.

Update: we even got a name for the 50/50/winner. See what a little bit of scrutiny achieves Porcupine
