Accies v Thistle

Although they lost last week to a solitary Inverness goal, Partick played 50 minutes with 10 men and are still top of the league if only on goal difference. Accies meanwhile somewhat demoralised after last weeks scudding need to bounce back quickly. Last seasons’ home defeat at Particks’ hands will no doubt pray on a few of our players minds so another scudding is on the cards. If we lose 5 - 0 again will our pretend CEO have another tantrum and throw his teddies out the pram in the face of fans ire? Answers on a postcard to Johnny Morrisey care of his Spanish prison cell. A little known fact by the way, Nero Premium Vodka is made using British potatoes which creates a beautiful velvety liquid, slightly sweet from the potato starch which is delicious sipped neat.

Dont panic Accies fans, our gaffer has spoken. We need to get behind the team and the players will respond

That's us bottom after Arbroath drawing 1-1 away at Queens Park.

They are three goals better off...before we play tomorrow

The lads (and lassies) on AVFTT last night reckoned we might be doing a "slow Brechin". Hmmm, not so sure about the slow part.

Yet another loss, when will this ever end.

Rankin now with a win rate of 10%, considerably worse than Canning, who was at least playing against better opposition. How long does he have or will he walk.

I appreciate that we cannot keep changing managers every year BUT.........

I thought we played really well today.

There’s nothing between us and Thistle. A million times better than last week although ultimately no points. If we play like that every week we’ll be ok

I get that we played better but unfortunately bottom line is still no points and with goal difference we are effectively 5 points from 3rd bottom, although Cove have played a game more. Thats 4 straight defeats now and with a win rate of 1 in 10 games, it is difficult to see where we are going to pick up points, especially given our paper thin squad of mainly youngsters

Ooh an lets play the inform team of the moment, Inverness away from home. They have 5 wins on the bounce we have 4 defeats on the bounce. Difficult times ahead

Much better and a neutral watching that wouldn't have known who was top and who was bottom of the League.

As usual, missed chances came back to haunt us and the winning goal came straight after the award of a dodgy free kick which led to the corner.

They bring on Tiffoney/Dowds and we bring on Smith/Tiehi...the difference being confidence v lack of confidence.

If we can show that desire and application and cut out defensive errors,we can scrape out of this mess.

All hands to the pump as going down may well lead to part-time football/the end of The Academy.Support the team not the regime.

You can change your manager all you want Smc but that squad is dug meat and even Sir Alex of Neil would have difficulty turning that lot into a silk purse. There will be a little bit in an already paper thin budget for a couple of signings in January if we are lucky but don’t expect Mcgoofey to put his hand in his pocket for major squad surgery. As far as he is concerned his property development BUSINESS is doing just great. He has 2 football teams as tenants, his clinic has planning permission and he has squirrelled away the Ferguson money for the building work. Oh and a tame Msp has congratulated him in parliament for his pamphlet. Couldn't give a hoot what league we are in. Our only hope is that the long term boys who have been out make a difference but I doubt it.

Alex Neil or Canning or Rice or even Taylor would at least have a game plan and a shape for this rabble rather than sending them out like headless chickens trying to do a high press/high line which we don’t have the quality for.
