Raith v Accies

Postby TerracingTomas » Wed Feb 02, 2022 6:49 pm

Well is anyone going? The Vaults bus hasn’t been cancelled yet so I assume some Accies’ fans presence. As both the Morton and QofS games showed they are vulnerable defensively but do we have the players to exploit this? I’d hope to see Lawson at RB allowing Hamilton to play in front of the back 4. This is the start of a challenging few games and lose here and then Arbroath and we are right in the grubber.

I will be going. I am not going to spoil my weekend by not going but will make my feelings clear.
Have to say that if everyone is fit then Hamilton would be on the bench for me.

On another day, I would have watched it at home. However, my decision not to give Raith Rovers any money is made much easier by the fact that their entire TV team appears to have walked out. It's a pity as they were very professional, but they've done the right thing.

Surprised no one has (to my knowledge) re-branded them Rape Rovers.

Rape Rovers was one of the top trends on Twitter on Tuesday. Only 1,196 attended, about 500 down on what they'd expect. Hopefully Lawson will be fit enough to start from now on. A decent point but we need wins. At least four more are needed with three or four draws.

Dreadful first half from both teams. Don’t suppose the weather helped. Second half seemed to be going the same when we suddenly kick started and had the Raith goal under siege. Corners and crosses flying in but guess what we couldn’t score. Then he hooks Kennedy who had been supplying the crosses and also had a couple of shots on goal for Redfern which didn’t go down well with the travelling support. I’d have taken the point beforehand but really we should have taken 3 based on the second half opportunities. No ground lost to Ayr/Pars/QofS but the Morton express is right behind us.

Another one of Mcgoofeys’ good friends Porcupine. I can’t be bothered posting the Record story about that lot but murder, drugs and the Inland Revenue feature in the article.
