Was digging through old photos tonight, and came across a few old Accies ones. Might as well share, and hey, feel free to add whatever you have...

First is of me as a wee yin meeting the team with John Lambie. The others are squad photos and signatures from around the same period... 1990-ish?

What's interesting in the B&W pics is that a fair number of the players don't look like teenagers.

Alan Ferguson was not the tallest GK but I have not seen any other accies GK take more crosses! He worked and worked for hours after training with Crish hillcoat on them.

In that first photo, Paul McDonald seems to be enjoying himself, way too much

Sent the link to Paul Martin - club second highest signing I think - 50 this year. Tempus fugit and that!!

terrible signing he was, so was john mcquade.

but i have fond memories of these times and for me that was my favourite time supporting accies

Does anyone remember that rain-soaked evening when we played against Meadowbank Thistle in the B&Q cup semi at old Douglas Park.

I think the game ended up 0-0 at full time (maybe 1-1) and went to penalties.
There were something like 14 or 16 penalties taken, with Accies eventually conquering at a massive score of 2-1.
What an demonstration of expert penalty taking that was

Was that the year we beat Morton 3-2 in the final, at Love Street?
