Temps injury update

Postby TerracingTomas » Wed Sep 15, 2021 12:46 pm

Update re Temps and his injury. Can’t say I remember the club being so upfront re injures before so I welcome this and hope we will see the player back some time soon. We certainly need him.

Not a surprise really but the club have announced he has retired from playing but will remain in a youth academy coaching role. A joy to watch in his first spell with us. I suppose he went out on a positive playing note contributing in our 4 goal comeback at Raith. As one of our top earners maybe that will free up some budget for January.

Very sad. but not surprised. What a great season this is turning out to be.

For those of us who were at Kirkcaldy, four nil down and likely to be even further behind, we saw the brilliance of David T when he came on, sprayed decisive passes to our runners, spooked the opposition, and we achieved possibly one of the best & improbable results in any game in which I have seen Accies playing.

What a way to go out!! It promised so much more for the season, but that's football! Best of luck in the new role, and if only some of that talent can be passed on to our young players, then great!

Interview with Temps in which he opens up on his injury woes. Hopefully he goes onto to have a good coaching career.
