Lots of experience and certainly should do well in the Championship. I like this one.

Yep that seems to be a decent signing. A right back and a centre forward of a similar standard and we will be looking ok.

I have followed Mullin's progress since I saw him score a stunning volley for Albion Rovers at home to Dunfermline. Try to find a goal he scored for Ross County at East End Park, absolutely amazing. Well done Brian Rice and I don't say that too often.

Mullin can play right back, it's where he started at Rovers.

Josh Mullin looks a good signing. We’re leaving it late as usual but both signings this week have significantly improved the squad.

And now Dundee United make a bid for Scott Mcmann. Knocked back immediately by Accies as too low so if they are serious they will come back. May also flush out others if they are there.

Don't you go telling Rice he can play right back ffs.

A good signing, another striker and a right back in the house and we can match up to the rest.Fine margins and all that.

Media reporting that Shankland is off to Belgium in a million pound deal. If correct I would have thought DUFC will come back with an improved bid for Mcmann, assuming they are serious.

Our young goalie Jamie Smith off on loan with Broomhill of the Lowland League. A new club to me.

Our sports scientist next to leave although he has been replaced presumably by a cheaper option.

Used to be BSC Glasgow, played Hibs in the Cup a couple of years ago. Play at Alloa's ground as they don't yet have a ground in Glasgow. Funny, I had to check that myself last night when I saw the name on the in-play betting and noticed Smith's name on their list of players. I didn't recall Accies Twitter mentioning it but that's it up now.

From BBC gossip page :-

Dundee have taken Lee Hodson, who spent last season on loan to Hamilton Academical, on trial after the 29-year-old right-back's release by Gillingham

International clearance just granted in respect of Lenny Sowah, who left us in May 2019 and who had had no club since, who has moved to TuS Dassendorf in Hamburg Regional League (German 5th level). Good wishes to him

Can’t understand why it took all that time for him to find another club

Sowah far too good for that level.A player who should have did way more in the game.

I still remember our two man defence of Sowah and Ziggy repelling everything that night at Love Street when Gogic was sent off in the first half.A lucky deflection was the only way St.Mirren were scoring as they two single handedly kept us in it.

A fit Sowah could have did a job at left centre back but that shop has sailed.

Inteview with Stuart in which we get more or less the same as we got from Rice. Talking to one or two might get someone in this week etc etc.

Glad to see some love for Sowah. He was outstanding as wing back in Rice's second game in charge when we got a rare win over St Johnstone and although I wasn't there, he apparently had another great game a few weeks later when we won 2-0 at Pittodrie. Set up Miller's crucial second goal.

Well a signing before tomorrow. A season long loan deal for Luke Matheson from Wolves. He’s a defender but I can’t find out his actual position. Hopefully a right back. cost Wolves a million pound from Rochdale last year. Looks like Stuart had him on loan at Ipswich so knows him.

Update: Yep he’s described as a right back Well done Stuart :D

I think this will be the best signing in the division this season and will probably be better than a few in the Premier. Rated very highly at Rochdale. His goal at home to Bolton was a belter. Hopefully he can defend as well!

This looks like a very decent signing and if the rumours of Ollie Shaw are true things will be looking much better.

St Johnstone are set to announce the loan signing of former Hamilton midfielder Ali Crawford, 30, from Bolton. (Herald)

No idea if we tried to get him although personally I would liked to have seen him. But there was an element of our support who were always on his back so I doubt we would beenhis first choice. Let’s see what today brings if anyone.
