If he had any ambition he would have been off at the end of the season and try and carve a career elsewhere probably in the championship. Still maybe that’s what the club is anticipating by giving him an extension, he will be a useful squad player for us in the championship!

Marley Redfern who I must admit I was unaware of has extended his contract.

I expect we will see more of the young players extended as the club prepares for next season. If we go down then I assume the majority of the squad will be the youngsters beefed up with the likes of old heads Easton, Temps and ‘established first team players like Moyo, Fulton and McMann.
