Ross co 29 - a Motherwell , h rangers , h ACCIES, a HEARTS , h ST MIRREN

st mirren 25 - h st Johnstone , a Celtic , h HEARTS, a kilmarnock, h rangers , a ROSS CO

accies 21 - a rangers, h kilmarnock , a ROSS CO, h hibs, a st Johnstone

Hearts 19 - a hibs, h Motherwell, a ST MIRREN, a Livingston, h ROSS CO, a aberdeen

Draw your own conclusions

St Mirren and hearts have a game in hand but it’s against each other and both still in then Scottish so an opportunity for a replay, tired legs bookings etc.

Ross co are still in it as if they lose those games in capitals they’re right in the brown stuff. They could easily lose the remaining 5 games

St Mirrens run isn’t the easiest and you could make a case for them losing all 6

Apart from rangers away(although good time to catch them with them having 2 high pressure cup games in 4 days) we have 4 games which can be winnable but we must win the Ross co game

Hearts have a tough run especially if they don’t win their games in capitals.

And then there’s the split so still a few twists and turns

Definitely a few twists and turns to come.
A good chance that St Mirren will be 7 points clear of us with a game in hand by next Wednesday.
I would take our chances in the play off right now if offered

Ross County are out of it. That’s what an amazing win at pittodrie does for you.

It’s a 3 horse race just now with St Mirren miles in front. If they win their game in hand against Hearts then it’s down to us 2.

Hopefully we can hold 11th as the championship is rotten after United. Id say a 2 legged play off versus Ayr, Caley or Dundee is a reasonable chance to stay up even for us.

Got to admire your optimism. Realistically we need to win at least 4/5 of our remaining 10 games to stay up. For some perspective we have won 4 all season out of 28, so it is a huge ask.

With no Easton and Woods and Fjortoft simply not up to it, we are struggling in central defence. WE have conceded almost an average of 2 goals per game and thats when we had a central defence

No matter how difficult Rangers week will be, we put up a great fight but it ends in glorious failure. We may pick up the odd win in the remaining games but simply too little too late.

Much as I hate to say it, Rice record may actually be worse than Canning and look at the hate he got, myself included

Wow what a week that was but just shows you what can happen if you keep back door shut, 3 clean sheets 7 points.

There is so many variables now. Every Ross county game has points at stake for someone in the bottom 4 now and we need to make sure worst case next week we get a point.

I’ll take a draw midweek st mirren v hearts, if I thought hearts would get marooned at the bottom I’d take a st mirren win.

Scottish cup is a great distraction for hearts as subconsciously as a player you’ll have one eye on that semi as you’ll fancy beating hibs to get to the final.

The problem we have is that hibs and st Johnstone is they will be fighting for the elusive 6th spot. The hope is as with hearts that hibs come to us with an eye on the semi and don’t fancy the pitch and we get something out it.

St Johnstone’s game in hand is v rangers and as of yet hasn’t got a date for it which I find strange.

Who knows what’ll look like next Saturday at 5pm

What's your latest thought BW, after Hearts defeat tonight?

For our situation we cannot lose now v Ross co and a win is huge as we’ll have 2 tricky games v teams desperate for top 6 and potentially the extra old firm game revenue. I’d be very surprised if their board didn’t throw the players an incentive. The park won’t be a problem for hibs as they’ve won at killie and livi and against BSC in the cup at Alloas Park.

I can see st mirren easily losing their next 2 with a humdinger in the last game that you can’t call.

Hearts need to win 2 games now just to go 2nd bottom so every game they have now is real pressure to deliver. Livi and aberdeen are awful places to get a result so again their county game at home is huge.

Interesting to note Boyce hasn’t started the last 2 games so might be out of favour. Not many hearts players will have been in a relegation fight so they’ll be nervous.

The county games are huge for all teams in the bottom 4.

Also after the split we should have home games v st mirren county and hearts so it’s in our hands.

Roll on Saturday

Thanks. That's how it also looked to me. Every Ross County game means something very significant to both teams.
Dingwall is never an easy place to get a win, but I doubt they can win every game before the split, and we are on form, so Accies have it all in their own hands from now on.
