Accies vAberdeen

Postby TerracingTomas » Mon Feb 10, 2020 2:35 pm

From an interview with Brian on BBC website

Rice will be without four injured strikers for the league visit of Aberdeen on Tuesday - Mickel Miller, Andy Dales, Steven Davies and George Oakley - and he bemoaned the packed fixture list following the winter break.

I suppose there is a chance the game might be off if the weather continues. I assume we have Temps and Oggie available alongside Lewis so not too bad. And bomb scare Hamilton is suspended so Want in defence? A draw not good enough in my opinion but maybe the best we can hope for.

What about Woods?

Him and Easton at the back would be good.

The club said Hamilton misses the Motherwell game on the 22nd so he could play in this but hopefully it will be Easton and Woods. Was Woods injured for Saturday or was he ditched for another Academy showcase against the Old Firm?

Aberdeen without a league goal in 2020. Given how often we like to give a team on a run line that hope I predict 1-3 Aberdeen.

Rice out.

Got to agree with Scotty, whenever a team needs to pick up something and have been on a terrible run like Aberdeen, they come up against the Accies and get the 3 points

Happened with St Johnstone, St Midden, Hearts etc so not looking good.

0-1 for me

Looking forward to playing against fellow wee diddy sides next year away from bigot brothers and dodgy refs

First two yes but not Hearts, we've taken four points out of six.

Apart from Hearts, but we do have a history of helping out teams on bad runs.
I expect Aberdeen to score in the opening 5 minutes.
We might rescue a point though.

Re Mickel Miller, he was telling my father that he expects to be out for four weeks with his injury :-(

Bottled it! Spent 9.99 for a 24 hour Now sport pass. Enjoying a cup tea, some chocolate and the warmth. Probably doesn’t make me a ‘proper’ Accies fan but by the look of the main stand a lot of other Accies fans have done the same.

Worst 9.99 you’ve ever spent.

Absolute honking, we are doomed.

Alston and hunt in midfield are atrocious, seen more fight in a dead fish.

Worst 45 minutes by a mile this season.

I just hope that we don’t fall out of the championship after next season.

With 12 players out on loan most of them young boys next season will be all about youth Aldo. There will be half a dozen old pros like Easton. The opportunity was there this summer to build on the second half of last but not taken. Ronnie will be delighted though all the Academy boys will be playing and we will be hearing about the youngest starting 11 again but only this time in the Championship.

..... and its good night from us. Looking forward to sampling the Arbroath Smokies next season

One again a team on a terrible run play the Accies and we make them look like Barcelona.

Canning win ratio was atrocious, think Rice record is now actually worse if that was possible.

I did want Canning out, so maybe be careful what you wish for

Question now is how low can the "crowds" go

We will never know Smc because the figures given are fraudulent.
