It was always on the cards the minute Alex left.

Huge part in us gaining promotion , will always be a fav at NDP but 1 million for a guy at 26 is some deal .

Another blow to our squad and season if it goes through but well done Tony, you've done us proud. A legend in the short time you've been with us. Did we get Tony on a free? Anyone know?

From the club who bid £5m for Graham Dorrans £1m is about right.That lot would sell their granny to make it to the Moneyship.Can't have it myself whilst they play Kyle Laughferty and that guy from Celtic who scores 2 yard tap ins cannae remember his name used to have 88 on his shirt absolute wage stealer.

The £1m will probably be with add ons? so maybe only half or three quarters up front?

Gutted but if it is a million that's a heck of a deal for a 26 year old that cost us nothing. Fully expect him to be a success down there. Biggest support in the division and a lot of pressure but poorer players have left Scotland and done well in that league. Thanks for everything Tony.

Gutted to lose another Accies legend but same as when Alex left, you can't grudge him the move when the opportunity arises. Really hope it works out for him and he's a success down there.

Talk about a panic buy. Norwich City forking out £1 million for Hamilton striker Tony Andreu. Don't think he is worth anything near that.

Quite a few comments on Twitter underrating #22. Do they not realise he's the SPL's top scorer? From midfield. For Accies. And have they seen the quality of the goals he's scored? From a Championship side's point of view, £1m for a 26yo with those credentials is an absolute steal.

No surprise, but I'm sad to see Tony go. He's the best player we've signed since... well, since Alex Neil.

Alex knows Andreu's qualities and must think he's good enough to play in the Championship. I think he'll be a good signing for them but it's a massive loss for us. I see Alex has sent Kyle Laffety out on loan to Turkey for rest of season also. Another good move by him.

A 3 and a half year deal and with a wage which will be a real game changer for him; and we got £1m. Good luck to him, will always be remembered and always welcome back at NDP.

Despite what many will say, this is a win-win situation for everyone!

Would love it if the rumour of Accies playing Norwich, pre-season at NDP, was true.

If we could see Tony and Alex one final time.
One half wearing an Norwich top, the other half donning the hoops.

Both will always be Accies legends and the chance to give both a standing ovation, for all they have done for us.

Really nice what Tony said about the club, on the website.
For as much he feels about Accies, it's nothing about how the fans felt about him.

He's going to be a huge miss to all of the us.
