Daily Record story saying Accies have told Darian Mackinnon he can leave if an offer comes in that suites him. Sounds like a free transfer not a loan.

Forfars’ facebook page confirming Stanger signed on loan until the season end. I would have thought a ready replacement forStubbs but the club obviously doesn’t think so.

Not a transfer but signing news all the same. Easton extended to the end of next season. By the sound of it he will be there even if relegated.

Darian officially released and away to Patrick but he has only signed a deal with them until the season end. He also remains an under 16 coach with us.

Confirms what I said last year where Alex Gogic looke the natural replacement for Daz, who looked to be on his last season in the first team. Still, a great player for Accies who has given over 100% and good to see that his style and commitment is being nurtured in the under 16's coaching with us.

Best of luck,Daz, at Patrick. He might just save them from that relegation/play-off spot that looks quite likely.

Southwood on the bench for Reading tonight.

They're playing at Blackpool. Hopefully he stopped off on his way back up!

Niyah Joseph’s loand to Annan has been extended until the season end.

Of the 10 youngsters out on loan until January we have still to learn the fate of 4. Daryl Meikle and Sean Slaven where at Linlithgow in the east of scotland league and Kyle Munro and Ross Connelly were playing in the West juniors.

Slavin and Meikle will be staying at Linlithgow for the rest of the season. Meikle doing well and playing most weeks. Slavin more of a bit part player and missed a great chance to equalise with last touch in local derby against Boness last time out.

Credit this to Accies1874 who is reporting “Hamilton are Close to signing defender Sam Woods from Crystal Palace. Loan.” Product of their youth academy but only played one first team game so far in the Caribou cup. A defender so I assume a replacement for Stubbs.

Daily Record saying 2 signings imminent. The boy from Palace and Southwood returning form Reading. Woo hoo if confirmed re Southwood.

Hamilton are reported to be closing in on bringing goalkeeper Luke Southwood back to the club, with Crystal Palace defender Sam Woods also thought to be joining on loan.

Southwood joined on loan from Reading at the start of the season, and took until November to break into the team, but made himself first-choice before returning to his parent club earlier this month.

Palace centre-back Woods, meanwhile, made his senior debut for the club in August, but has struggled for any notable first-team football with just three starts in the early rounds of the domestic cups.

According to STV’s Raman Bhardwaj, both players are expected to arrive imminently and boost Brian Rice’s ranks in the second half of the campaign.

From the Daily Record transfer news live page:-

Millwall cast an eye over Hamilton starlet Lewis Smith on Saturday as interest continues to grow in the teenager.

The Championship side are among a growing list of admirers of the 19-year-old forward.

Smith started the 4-2 defeat against Livingston and set up the opening goal before being subbed on the hour mark as Millwall scouts watched from the stands.

The Scotland Under 21 international signed a new deal until 2022 with Accies two months ago and was linked with Newcastle last month.”

From BBC gossip page:-

Dunfermline Athletic will today complete the signing of 32-year-old Wales goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams on loan from Hamilton Academical. (Daily Star, print edition)

Hurrah if correct. We have had a succession of really good keepers over the years but OFW was never up there. We were warned by Inverness fans that he was a bit of a liability and so it has proved. We are starting to dismantle the squad already :(
