Lewis Smith & Jamie Hamilton have put pen-to-paper on two new deals that will see them remain at the club until Summer 2022.
The Accies-Academy graduates have come through almost every level of the pathway here at Hamilton and now find themselves in Brian Rice’s first team.
The pair have had recent international call-ups to Scotland u19 & u21 levels as well as their first-team breakthroughs this season. Academy director George Cairns said: “This is what it’s all about here at Hamilton, we’re securing the futures of our home-grown talent. Lewis and Jamie are two boys I knew had it in them to play at this level and to be fair they’ve taken the chances given to them.
Thank goodness for that. Its all very well being “all about yuf” but if they bugger off before they make any contribution to the first team I dont see the point. Both for sale in the summer of 21
