# EMBARRASSING !
# THE WRITING IS ON THE WALL !
The failure to even score at Home against the Amateurs is absolutely disgusting.
Why should Rice be absolved of any criticism?
Just imagine the dog's abuse Canning would have got for this result!
True to form Cup form by Accies.

Can we organize a suicide watch for poor Frank.
I fear for his mental health.

Six defensive players start. Against a fourth tier team who lost most of their best players in the close season and who had seven debutants. Shameful.

"We're all about youth this season" - ONE young player started.

Rice wanted to reach the cup final. Bless.

That was dreadful and I thought I was watching Canning's League Cup team of last year.

The lack of creativity in midfield is still there and the defence is weaker as well which is worrying. No one deserved a MOM and Rice seems to making the same mistakes as Canning playing Ronan Hughes right wing back.

Next three games will on paper be tougher,so we need to vastly improve.

Precisely.
The new signings are proving to be pish, even this early.
Livingston's Lyndon Dykes for example show's the type we should be after.

The remaining three league cup fixtures should be used to give some of the youngsters an opportunity - McCann, Breen, Smith definitely, and maybe a few others. They can't possibly be worse than what was on display today. That was as bad as anything seen under Canning. Then again, we had an even worse result on the opening day last season, and still managed to avoid relegation so who knows. Maybe things will get better(?).

Was that losing at Annan? I'd say this was worse. A home game against a team with SEVEN debutants, eight if you count one of the subs, and they very nearly won in the ninety minutes.

Apparently they were unlucky versus Thistle only losing due to self inflicted mistakes.
