Think Andreu is past his best but still wouldn't be averse to him returning.
Think the squad is starting to take shape and the fans can justifiably be more optimistic for the Season that lies ahead.

Still reckon we are 4 players short. If rumours are right we will see Williams and Hunt sign soon.

Ziggy and Andreu would be ideal or 2 similar players.

From the BBC gossip page:-

Hamilton Academical are to give Camelon striker Kieran Anderson a chance to impress in pre-season training after the 24-year-old scored 47 goals for the East of Scotland League club last season. (Scottish Sun, print edition)

‘Confirmation’ if the Sun is to be believed of a rumour that surfaced a few weeks back.

I heard about this before it was reported in the media. It appears to be true...

No harm to the boy.
But as an Established Top Flight Club we should be targeting the English lower league's which have proved fruitful for the likes of Motherwell in recent season's.
(Moult,Main,Johnson) to name a few.
Not saying we shouldn't give the boy a trial though at 24 I would suggest he's a tad old but if he's a Jamie Vardy clone I'll gladly eat my hat.

Just watched Markus Fjortoft’s interview on AcciesTV. Comes across well, confident without being arrogant. Hopefully he establishes himself.

From today’s Daily Record gossip:-

Hamilton are to sign Brighton midfielder Will Collar, thanks to David Weir, writes Scott Burns.

The 22-year-old agreed a two-year deal after Accies boss Brian Rice was tipped off by former Falkirk team-mate Weir, development officer at the EPL club.

Collar, who played a Carabao Cup game against Southampton last season, was made an offer after impressing on trial at New Douglas Park.

The last Brighton U23 player that came up here was Tom Dallison, who joined Falkirk, made little impact and left after 12 games.

Did Hamish Morrison not come from Brighton last season and barely got a game for the reserves.

He did and then there was Aaron Smith from Forest's U23s. Players of a decent age who have never been loaned out and have virtually no first team experience. We seem to making the same mistakes but happy if he proves his worth.

Ziggy Gordon has signed a 12 month deal with Australian club Central Coast Mariners.
Good luck to him, he's served us well over the years and will be missed.

Interesting quote from Ziggy's interview "I’m not willing to play for a team who isn’t striving to move up from the bottom of the table".

Didn't see that one happening. I assumed he would get another eastern european gig when Romania fell through. Australian football seems to be flourishing. They started an equivalent of the Scottish Cup a couple of seasons ago alongside the A league and that I think has expanded so looks like a reasonable move for him.
