Can see where SC is coming from but one point is absolutely no one was excited about the signing of Sam Kelly a guy we all knew was a dud from a mile off.

I'm very excited by the mere fact we now have a Head Coach in place who has at least half a clue what he is doing.

I’m quite excited by the new season. The young guys must get a chance.
I think we look stronger up front than we have for a few years and more importantly stronger than our rivals up front.
Tony Andreu was not the same player he once was. I’ll be happy to remember him starring for us throughout 2014 however I’m not sad that he has now moved on.
Heading up to Kirkcaldy to see how they look on Thursday. Roll on the new season.

Well put.
If we had missed out on the Andreu of old I'd be disappointed too but he's not.
Tbh I'm not sure he actually deserved to be back at Accies last season anyway after snubbing us for Dundee Utd.

Couple of the young guys going out on loan.

We're delighted to confirm the signings of Daryl Meikle & Sean Slaven on loan from Hamilton Accies. The two lads have been part of the successful elite youth set up at Hamilton. Daryl plays in midfield whilst Sean is a striker. Welcome to Linlithgow Rose lads!

Sean scored the winner for Linlithgow against Clyde last weekend. The Rose were also hoping to sign Leon McCann but cant see that happening the way he played last night.

From the official site new signing for the development squad from Celtic

Dylan Forrest who is only 17 years of age, has plenty of experience having come from the Scottish champions youth set-up. The central midfielder has international caps at u16 & u17 levels and captained the national side as well.

Worried Supporter

I am worried, seriously worried, If I am proved wrong happy to admit it but, as of now I am worried. Nothing to do with pre season friendlies etc they are what they are, going by last season and what we needed etc is why i'm worried.

Defence - left side and centre.
Left side been a problem for years, possibly solved with the signings, so ok. The centre i dont see any hope, we have young boys etc, but we need some experience and thats not McKenna who does not come with any good comments, basically in a whole, untried centre halfs is not the answer. An experienced centre beside Shaun Want etc is the way forward but not as it stands the now.

Playmaker / Creativity
Where? Miller who I think we will sell, got found out, may still improve more but can't do it himself, whats left, was a major problem last season, that key final ball, still unsolved.

I know its still early etc but i dont hear us linked with anymore players, so, yes I am worried, as those areas where a constant issue under Canning and still continuing.

I agree.
Nothing been done in the transfer market that excites me.
Kearney leaving the Midden is bad for us too.
And Livingston will be Livingston.Grinding out points which we can't.
Pish.

The centre of defence looks terrifying. We've lost the two best players there, Ziggy and Kilgallon, and even they were culpable in a few of the thrashings we received. Now we have:
Gogic ( not really up to the Premier imo)
Want (promising, will be inconsistent, slightly weak physically)
McKenna (Rice obviously sees something but we need the finished article)
Easton (back up centre half possibly)
Stranger (never seen him but heard only good, still a big ask to expect consistency)
Hamilton (more or less see Stanger)
Hunt (can he play centre half, quite small?)

We need to unearth another Kilgallon from somewhere or I really fear for us.

Interview with Brian on the back page of the Advertiser. The players brought in so far are listed and it looks as though we have made Gourlay an offer as it says “ with goalkeeper Kyle Gourlay likely to follow”. Has looked ok so far although I assume he is back up to Fon Williams but what happens when Fulton returns from injury I'm not sure.

From the Everton website:

ADEDOYIN JOINS HAMILTON ON LOAN
By Everton

Teenage Everton forward Korede Adedoyin has completed a season-long loan move to Hamilton Academical.

Adedoyin joined Everton aged 10 and signed his first professional contract with the Club earlier this month.

He scored 13 goals in 21 appearances for Paul Tait’s Everton Under-18 team last season.

The Nigeria-born player, 18, will spend the 2019/20 campaign with Hamilton, who finished 10th in last season’s Scottish Premiership

Highly rated kid who apparently had loads of Club's wanting him on loan.
Among them Hearts and Dundee Utd.

Maybe a few weeks until we see Adedoyin make a first team appearance but the below maybe explains why he was sent upto Oban with the development squad.

Happy to have signed for @acciesfc on loan, Can’t wait to reach full fitness and help the team the best I can.

Need a bit more than his help if we're to stay up this Season.
Like maybe about 5 or 6 decent signings instead of the usual pish.

I see Keiron Anderson has signed for Stenhousemuir - thankfully as was never good enough for us.

I worry about Rice when he takes guys like this and O'Hara on trial...and plays six defenders against Queen's Park.
