The date on that tweet was last January. He is injured again but Coventry said recently they hope to have him back soon.

Apparently the Hamilton Advertiser saying there could be a signing announced as 'early' as today.

Steve Davies has signed.

Pity he looks like Bill Werbenuik. He did score against Spurs last season, which is a better CV than the like of Diaby ever had.

We like snooker names, don't we? Stephen Hendry, Bingham. Fu (ckoffcanning).

How about tempting ex Livingston and Hearts defender Allan McManus out of retirement for another cue baller.
Graeme Dott (y) would explain some of Cannings decisions also.
And most Accies fans are as sick as a Parrott (John).

C'mon, guys n gals. He's 6ft 1" and has scored for every club he has played for to date, so provided his legs are fine, perhaps this is the diamond we have long awaited this season. Let's give him some support from the off, providing he himself gets enough support by way of quality passes from our midfield (dynamo's?).

At least we have one new face!

That's nothing.
I've just seen Omar Diaby in Nandos with Allan Maitland, Bill McMurdo and George Cairns.

I've seen terms like 'proven goalscorer' and such thrown around, why yes he definitely has scored goals, however his goals per game ratio is not very impressive considering he's playing most of his football in the third tier of english football. From my maths he's averaged one goal per 4.7 games... Mikel's ratio is much lower and he's not played as a centre forward.
He is certainly a big unit of a boy, Ogkmpoe is also a unit, however looks much more athletic.
I'm hoping I am wrong and this guy can produce some magic for us. Burly poachers certainly have a place in Scottish football.

BUT HERE IS THE BIG BIG ISSUE *pardon the pun* - He's made only 4 sub appearances this season in league one. We can't afford to be taking on guys who are not match fit.

But then again I don't suppose Jack Ross owes us any favours

I see the Daily Ranger reporting that Dundee are now looking to sign him :(
