There's a shocker.
Canning publicly stating an interest in Tansey weeks ago and egg on our faces again.
Can't really blame Tansey for picking Saints over the Pub Team/Charity Shop that is sadly HAFC (Football Department) these days.

Not sure how these comments can be construed as interesting, standard copy and paste interview from any new signing. Look forward, however to seeing how Tansey's interview can be intepreted into anti-Canning comments.

Length of contract says it all. I doubt we would have offered him more than a year at best.

If the topic for debate was the fluctuating economy of Bolivia I could probably find a way of interpreting some anti-Canning comments into the conversation.
Just saying.

At the very least, this thread fills in a few blank weeks without any games. And of course, no signings, (if any), until the end of the transfer window. By then, we pick up any "diamonds" that are desperate for a wage until the end of the season.

Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose

Don't think so.
Lasted just about as long as Salva Chamorra never comes.
Or Rudi Torres
What a pair of Accies legends they turned out to be.
Lol

Then again after the hopes we had of the 8 summer signings would the BOD let Canning loose to sign anyone else. Thats of course if he actually does pick the players. Maybe Ziggy has been about the only success, Kilgannon has been a bit hit and miss, expected so much more

Yeah but at least Martin Guardiola has had good use of the Selection Bingo Tombola Machine.
It pains me to say it but well done to MFC on the acquisition of Ross McCormack.
Hang your heads in shame Accies Charity Shop BOD.

Y'know, you'd think that we were the only club in Scotland that have charitable business partners and endeavours the way the board go on about it, the man difference is our board seem to be putting more effort into them than the first team.

I nearly had a heart attack earlier, the ACCIES twitter was retweeting a resigning, turns out it was the fucking birds team. Even they get signings before us

Also just clocked an ad asking if any youngsters would like to apply to be a mascot for the St Johnstone game , as long as they provide their own kit ! No class .

To put an honest plodder like Ziggy above a Kilgannon who seems like a one man defence at times is bizarre;you sure your Surname isn't Canning?

Kilgannon is getting dragged down by the dross around him and his partner should be the outstanding Stanger, not the Danish Haddy or the American football/Aussie Rules player Bad Penney, not forgetting the error strewn Shaun Want.

I've only seen one bad performance from Killa so far this season, he's surrounded by guys who are either out of position or not upto scratch.
If we switched to a flat four, we could STILL play Mcgowan on the right and Ziggy as a left back, both have a bit of pace and fight, whilst we could have Want working alongside Killa to get his confidence and experience levels up.
Ziggy, Mcgowan, Miller and Killa have all been very successful signings imo. They'd all benefit from being around a stronger team though.

It’d been rumoured that you were learning Spanish...seen wandering around Hamilton bus station mumbling “Canning ya basta!”

Which translates as “Canning, enough already”...although “Canning basta ya” would be better.

Next weeks phrase: “Dougie esta un burro”
