If Andreu signs I'll buy everyone on this Forum a Double Advocaat and Lemonade.
And that includes Ewan!
But seriously,I have a hunch it will be Stefan Scougall of St Johnstone.
Solely based on the fact that he's been told he can leave for free if he finds a new Club.
Right up our street!
Cheapskates that we are!

What pubs in Hamilton still stock advocaat?
If they do - how long has it been there?
Still if it is #22 I'll be at the Vaults at 11 waiting...

Hoping against hope that this isn't a big disappointment.

Well 22 it is :D

Hopefully he has recovered from the serious injury he suffered and contribute right away, if nothing else it should give the fans a bit of a lift , albeit I think we need a couple more quality signing.

Snowball's all round then ;)

Well we wanted experience and we've got it with Davis and Andreu. I take my hat off to the club by getting #22 to return and to be fair it wasn't something I expected. I'm sure he's still got it and this has given me a wee lift ahead of our exit from the SC tomorrow ;)

He's had a cruciate injury - we really won't know how good he is until he plays. We'll need to be patient with him, and I can't see him being anything like as good as he was before. I obviously hope I'm wrong and it WILL give the place a lift!

He returned earlier this season from the cruciate and I remember he scored a great free kick winner for Coventry then he got injured again. Before Xmas, their manager said his injury was gone but he keeps getting little niggles or words to that effect. Hasn't played in months.

The statement on the website says he we are signing players who can contribute now which suggests he is fit.

The Vaults is already bouncing.
2014esque celebrations spilling out on to the street.
Police vans cutting off Burnbank Road and Clydesdale Street at least until the bottle of advocaat is finished.
Found a babycham 4 pack - yaas

"22 Tony Andreu, 22 Tony Andreu" repeat repeat

No#22 for Tony unless Montlouis gives up his squad jersey number for another!! Would like to see TA back in that number though... happy memories of Raith Rovers game at Starks Park when we won 4-0 and he scored a couple then.

And nothing from Swift Frank either on this.  Scared of the potential bar bill?? I'll need to wait for the midweek Aberdeen game to get my free drink from SF then?

Brilliant day - 22 Tony Andreu was repeated for 90 minutes. Had a headache from the drum behind me by the end - but worth it

No 22 has signed on loan from Coventry.

He was great for us 1st time around but not played much recently

Could this be the signing that keeps Canning his job

There's always a negative in a positive if you look hard enough I suppose.
Anyway, moving forward, who's next in the door?
James McCarthy?

Thats Macmillan confirmed as being signed from Saint Johnstone. Its a loan signing till the end of the season which probably suites all parties. No indication of anymore and no indication if Miller is going. Just have to wait and see. New strikers haven't excited me for ages more because of the way we have been playing so it will be interesting to see if our new coach (whoever that may be ;) alters our style to the benefit of strikers.

I forgot about this thread.
Surely we need to organise an Accies World Advocaat night out at the Vaults.

From BBC website

Meanwhile Accies have signed Irish striker David McMillan on loan from St Johnstone until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old moved to Perth in December 2017 after a prolific spell with Dundalk in the League of Ireland, and has scored five goals in 23 games for Saints.

"We're delighted to add another striker to the squad - it's an area we've been looking to strengthen," said director of football McGonigal.

"David arrives with a proven goal-scoring pedigree and we're hoping he can continue that here at Hamilton Accies."

Mmmm 5 goals in 23 games for St Johnstone, not exactly setting the heather on fire. Then again anyone is surely better than Steven "pie shop" Davies

Another striker signed, George Oakley, from Inverness Caley, till end of next season.
