Someone who certainly does not need the money, with another 2 years and four months of salary from Southampton still to be paid to him under his contract. Not counting the income from his Stoke contract which also was longer than his actual time there. An maybe even Man City contract income?
Someone who has had a career at the highest level, BUT still has something to prove to others in football after indifferent spells in charge of much bigger English clubs than a Scottish Premiership one. Brendan Rodgers comes to mind here. Oh, and Steve Clark too.
