3-0 Hearts with Clownzo looking lost and blaming strikers we don't have in his interview for the defeat.

Sad that within the space of a few weeks all the optimism has disappeared with us all even more pessimistic due to what we are seeing on the park and in the dugout.

If ever we needed a "pick me up",a boost and a good start it is now.

Woods
McMann Want Penny Gordon
Daz
Kelly Lyon
Imrie Miller
Bingham

I’d rather Boyd for Imrie and Bloomfield for Bingham, but hopefully I’m wrong.

Hearts look a strong team.

While I acknowledge I did say it
ive a bit more confidence in this years defenders than those calling for sarris or tomas to comeback
    Another illusion shattered.

Second half we collapsed defensively and Penny’s head just went after the penalty. 3 goals in 12 minutes i think. At half time I reckon Levein gave his players a rocket up the backside while we gave ours ‘Hope' consumables. And can someone explain to me why we persevere with Lyon. Its really unfathomable.

Some positives in the first half with good movement from Miller (excellent throughout), Bingham, Kelly and McMann but 2nd half was a real lesson. It reminded me a bit of our defeat at Aberdeen in the opening game of our relegation season under Billy Reid - for Alex Penny see Izzy Iriekpen.

I'm not ready to write off all our new signings as "dross" already but it is a worry than Lyon was seen as a better option than Phillips, Taiwo or Smith, that Imrie was seen as a better option at RWB than MacGowan (possibly not fully fit) and as much as players need time to adapt to Scottish football in the case of Penny / Bloomfield the very basics of defending / striking seemed missing.

What remains to be seen is just how good that Hearts team are - are they genuinely a good team or did Accies make them look better than they are? Either way a minimum of 3 players are required - centre half, central midfielder, physical striker.

First half was not bad

Second half was utter shocking

Why is imrie playing RWB and why Lyon playing when hardly played any of the cup games

We need CB CM and Str urgently!!!!

Another long hard season ahead.

Agree, assumed Imrie was an attacking midfielder on seeing the team...forgot he’s capable? of playing every position!!

First half played some ok stuff went a goal up then after a couple of cross balls had caused us problems hearts got the leveller from another cross ball , fell apart second half , huge gripe was at 3 - 1 down , Hearts have a free kick in our half as usual Accies pull every player back , why not leave players up when you are chasing to get back in the game , leave miller and bingham up the park and give hearts something to worry about .
