The only figure i've been able to confirm is that posted in the Press and Journal which refers to the length of contract that Ferguson signed with Aberdeen viz 4 years. So if he doesnt sign a new one he will still be 22 so Aberdeen will get a development fee if he leaves ;) Never mind based on Celtic qualifying for the group stages in Europe last season we are due another UEFA solidarity payment in October. We got 370k last year so at least that this year :D PS dont let our accountant near the phone.

If I recall Ronnie at the fans forum, I’m sure he referred to the individual who was the signatory to the account as being one of their many volunteers who was now retired and had been undertaking this role for 15 years or thereabouts.   Who knows?

Perhaps it would have been more prudent to invest some of The Ferguson cash in signing Colibaly(signed for Thistle) rather than PC,Happy Eid greetings to our non existant Muslim fan base.

Lewis Ferguson:

Hamilton call for compensation clarity after Aberdeen tribunal

Hamilton Accies chairman Ronnie MacDonald attended the hearing at Hampden on Monday

Hamilton Academical have called for compensation guidelines to be made public after Lewis Ferguson's tribunal.

Ferguson, 18, signed a pre-contract with Aberdeen but Accies were entitled to a fee for their former youth player.

The financial award made in Monday's hearing, and details of how it was reached, have not been disclosed by the Scottish Professional Football League.

"The guidelines used in making the decision should be made available," said chairman Ronnie MacDonald.

"Other clubs trying to promote youth development must be made aware of the guidelines and rules now applicable to compensation cases.

"They must be informed of all the facts when considering whether they can afford to invest in youth development."

Seems a valid statement, as there is no point in Accies spending to develop youngsters who then go on to 'big' clubs whilst still seen as "youths", and we get shafted on their value.

I see the sheep value Scott McKenna at £10m.
Hope Celtic offer 50 grand for him.
