Just heard the Aberdeen team tonight for the game against Burnley

Both Devlin and Ferguson in starting 11 for the Dons. Both good players but this should be a bit of a step up in class.

Good to see Accies developing players for our top teams?

Hope the Diddys who decide Judas Ferguson's fee are watching.

Ferguson subbed around the hour mark; Devlin completed the 90. Any reports on how they played?

Meanwhile Greg Docherty was on the Rangers bench in Croatia, but didn't get on.

Ive no idea how Ferguson played but even 60 minutes in a European tie must have added some more to the tribunal fee :P

That should edge it nearer the £900k.
MacGowan has promised the junkie fund a fair whack of that no doubt.

Devlin was great. Won pretty much everything Burnley threw at him, and looked really good beside McKenna.

Ferguson looked OK. His physicality helped Aberdeen in the first half, but he didn't really do enough in possession.

Thanks. Great to see young players developed by Accies going on to greater things. Especially pleasing to hear what Devlin has done, given his injury record.

They are ex Accies now so not that bothered about them.
More interested in how much we'll get for Ferguson.

Yeah seen that yesterday
Hopefully we take them for around 500k.
That could pay for some amount of legal cannabis.

Hopefully that's a few more quid added to Ferguson's fee after that goal tonight at Burnley.

As long as we get a percentage of the next sale out of it I’ll be happy with a few hundred K. The boy will get a very decent move if he’s playing regularly like this when the season starts.

According to Richard Gordon, the BBC Scotland Aberdeen supporting twat, only Ferguson's games in domestic football in Scotland are taken into consideration so a blindfolded hat-trick from the halfway line last night wouldn't even put 5p on the fee.

The ideal situation would be that payers are persuaded that they can develop with us, play a hundred games or so, miss out the SPL transfer stage, and then obtain a life changing transfer to England ( or OK the Old Firm , if they pay the going rate).

Initially successful, that has proved more difficult to achieve, and will be even more difficult if Devlin and Ferguson immediately get a lot of game time at Aberdeen.

For the plan to work, we need a first team firing on all cylinders, with some impetus, so that promising players don't bale out at the first chance.

It would help if they were paid a decent wage on a long term contract.
The big stumbling block at the Tribunal will be when Aberdeen's representative asks if Lewis Ferguson was on the salary of a 900k player.

Yes, if they could be offered a decent length contract at the point the club is confident they are about to break through.

Yet another good piece of business by Motherwell
Kipre on a free from Leicester then punted to Wigan for £1m+
Similar to us with Tony Andreu.
