Usually don’t have time for Allan Preston on Open All Mike’s but fair do to him today. He highlighted the boys result against Basel and encouraged everyone to go to the second leg on the 24th.

The club should be knocking down the doors at BBC and STV, getting the Hammy Advertiser involved.

What about some free tickets for some of the local schools try and get the town behind the boys. This is a fantastic achievement against top notch opposition and the club needs to promote this heavily

Apologies for the delay in posting about this.

Been discussions ongoing over this and the club will be issuing info later today which I’ll link to on here.

Free admission. Excellent and will hopefully generate a good crowd.

Very pleased obviously. I assume the club has been awaiting agreement from FC Basel before announcing. A perfect evening would be us winning and Bohemians as a trip to Dublin is affordable :)

Delighted to announce the above.

Fantastic.

Slightly ambiguous wording, but I assume season ticket holders just use Voucher A as the entry ticket, and don't need to exchange it for one in advance?

Will the Clown be there?
Hopefully not.
Best leave it to Dougie to do the tactics and team talk bad enough Canning making an arse of first team matters without wrecking the youths too.

Just leave it all to Jason & George as they are doing a fantastic job just like Alex & Frankie where doing 6 years ago. Keep clown & silly old man away from that team altogether. Jason & George, Alex & Frankie, Jason & George, Alex & Frankie. Anyone else seeing the similarity with the double acts?

Fantastic gesture and one I hope that gets the people of hamilton supporting a great young team.

Just a quick question though sean, if it’s free entry why do we need season tickets voucher A?

Explained in the link to the official site.

UEFA rules - there must be tickets. The club can't just open the gates.

Bumping this to the top.

Time we moved on from our (expected) defeat at the weekend and looked forward to this exciting prospect tomorrow night.

Come on the Accies Youth :!:

It’s not a foregone conclusion by any means in terms of a positive result for Accies but fingers crossed as I’m keeping my eye on the Bohemians tie hoping they win. A trip to Dublin on the 7 November would be ideal It’s a smashing city. A good crowd tomorrow hopefully.

Wow! Accies win on penalties in our first ever UEFA tie at any level. Eliminating one of the weel kent names in European football.

Attendance 2460 - bigger than many of our first team home games.

Congrats to the lads, and a trip to Denmark next, as Bohemians lost.

At 2 - 1 for Basel I thought we had blown it. Oh ye of little faith. An excellent game finely balanced and I thought we edged it in terms of chances created. Great to see 2460 in the main stand all supporting Accies. Only downside is the Danes getting through against Bohemians. Not an easy venue to get to. Onwards and upwards.

Well done lads.
Logistics not made easy for some fans by the unfortunate incident on the M74 but glad to witness Accies in Europe.GIRUY MFC.

Great gutsy performance against a more mature looking side than expected (by me, anyway).

The next game looks a tough one with opposition being the current Danish Champions, so their second string will presumably be strong lads.
Nearest airport Billund, from Edinburgh, for those interested.
