Andy Mcgilvray reporting that we're still looking to bring in "3 or 4" new players! https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/foo ... s-12945125

Also, Ross Jenkins, despite not being on the published list of squad numbers, is still with us.

For me, we're missing creativity, and that should be the priority.

How about a 5 figure bid for Dobbie for starters?

Think Dobbie has scored five goals in two games and Trouten who did well for Albion Rovers last season scored for Alloa at Tannadice.

That is the type of strikers we should have been looking at last season-never mind this season.Proven players at a level below are not any more of a gamble than some of the English or Euro players we have been signing.

Quote from Jim Duffy on BBC Sportsound____" I can't for the life of me understand why a bottom 6 Premier League side hasn't snapped up the prolific Dobbie"_____

Me neither Jim.

Possibly because, as I have already stated, Dobbie loves Queens and has no intention of moving at his age.

Trouten, despite his goals, isn't an out and out striker and is nowhere near the standard required to improve Accies.

Not interested in Trouten.
And how do you know for a fact Dobbie wouldn't leave his "love" for a final crack at the top flight?
You don't know that and as Duffy said if a bid goes in that can change things in an instant.
As I said previously though he's probably out of our league anyway.
A ready made Scottish striker who actually scores goals.
Canning would probably play him left wing back.

Why shouldn’t you be interested in Trouten, he scored four into us last season…

Signed Hamish Morrison a young full back from Brighton.

That's another very boring signing.

They seem to be reenforcing the current crop of Under 20’s. I notice Garcia for all he has a first team number has been playing with the under 20’s. I think Morrison has a couple of under 17 scottish caps so I suppose he's worth a speculative punt for the future.

What number is Garcia?

He's not on the list of squad numbers released on 14 July: https://www.hamiltonacciesfc.co.uk/squad-numbers/ - now also on Wikipedia: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamilton_Academical_F.C.

I stand corrected Willie. Well spotted, he doesnt have a first team squad number so for the time being looks as though he is part of the development squad if there is such a thing in the new world of the reserve league.

Lawless signs for Livi.

Another one gets away.
Heard Accies interest in Lawless cooled when the Club received an offer by phone from a Nigerian Prince promising Africa's top young striker on loan for the season if they gave him the Club Account number and sort code.

Lawless wanted to come to Accies and his brother in law/friends are big Accies fans but then again it would have entailed Imrie's place being under threat,so that was a big no no.

Accies would have taken Lawless had he been a wannabe from a 4th tier Club in Albania.
Lawless obviously not rated then by Clueless.

He Doesn’t like the surface and would prefer not to play on it every 2nd week that’s the real reason

Do Livi not have the same/similar surface ?
