We have signed Defenders McGowan, Sowah, Gordon, Penny, in addition to our existing defenders, Want McMann, Lyon & Gogic.
We have signed Midfielders Kelly, Garcia, Taiwo and Smith, in addition to our existing midfielders, Daz & Dougie.
We have signed Forward Bloomfield, in addition to our existing forwards Miller, Bingham, Rojano & Oggy.
Not sure where Lyon or anyone else I've missed fits in, but it looks as if we are finally building a defensive set-up that will stop us gifting goals to other teams.

Very positive from Accies this season.

Broadly agree with this (I thought Garcia was a centre half? I think Gogic is best in defensive midfield. And Lyon, although we've mainly played him as right wing back, seems to me more of an attacking midfielder).

My best guess at our current best XI:

Woods
McGowan Gordon Penny Want Sowah
MacKinnon Taiwo
Imrie
Miller
Bloomfield
Bingham,
Ogkmpoe or Rojano before Miller any day of the week.

Looks like Rojano's away, and Oggy's injured.

I'd be happy with Bingham - or Boyd.

The striker position seems reasonable fine as we have plenty of options but I do think Rojano is away but not the biggest loss. Can’t see Imrie in the starting team this year, just me?

As club captain, I reckon he will be.

I wouldn't have him in my best XI, but he brings continuity in a time of big changes, experience in a young and relatively inexperienced side, and leadership when it's not yet clear who else will contribute this. With Crawford, Redmond and (despite still hoping) Templeton away, he may also be our best free kick taker.

I can see him being a regular starter to begin with, less so as the season progresses, all being well.

Rojano leaving wouldn't be a major shock.
Not as though it was a long, drawn out transfer either.
Fairly straightforward.
Well worth the wait .
Not.

Templeton officially signed for Burton Albion on a 2 year deal. Thank god it’s not another Spfl side. All the best and thanks for the memories.

At least the Templeton 'love in' is now officially over and that chapter is consigned to the past.
Need to look to future heroes now and to be honest, imo although Temps was undoubtedly talented, perhaps a tad overrated by more than a few Accies fans.
Wish him well at the Mighty Burton Albion despite not really repaying the Club for the faith they showed in him.

Unfair in a couple of respects. Temps wasn't overrated, although he didn't actually win us as many games as some people think. As regards repaying us, he originally signed to the end of season 16/17 just to get/keep fit, then gave us a full season more when he could have left, certainly in January.

Deserves to be remembered fondly. Glad he's got a lucrative deal elsewhere. Sorry he's no longer an Accie.

Where we can agree is that it's time to move on.

Just checked out Burton Albion, better than I thought in league 1.
Interestingly they play at the Pirelli Stadium...their strip was previously just black shorts but in more recent times they’ve introduced yellow tops.

They've just spent two seasons in the Championship.

Pirelli introduced tops a few years ago, previously famously topless.

Pleased to see Jenkins and Rojano are still in the squad. Looks like we have enough quality to compete again, even if nobody else comes in.

Yep happy with that. I thought Rojana and Bingham looked reasonable together up front. Like to persevere with those 2 up front for the league cup games.
