Only made 14 appearances so did they think prior to December that he wasn’t really going to cut it so didn’t bother offering him an extension.
Or did they offer him something but he’s chose to let his contract run down

His Dad is best buddies with Derek McInnes so there is the answer.Another 1-2 seasons at Accies would have led to a big move down South instead of a sideways switch to Aberdeen under 20's.

And he’s never going to sign a new contract in his last year of his current contract.

This is pretty shambolic. After his stellar debut he should've been given a contract extension, I mean after Docherty was going and he was given the call, surely they could see him being a replacement past this summer? Fucking abysmal, that kid could've absolutely been a star and given at least another couple of seasons with us before moving onto better things.
