How many have left Accies--gone on to better things

Looks we are losing Docherty possibly Devlin and Crawford is unlikely to stay either got me to thinking. Apart from McCarthy and McArthur, which players have left Accies in say last 30 years and gone on to do well for themselves at a higher level.

Even number 22 who we sold for decent money seems to have dropped off the radar playing in English 2nd div.

So who can you think of?

Arguably, Tomas Cerny, David Buchanan, Jim Weir, Colin Miller, Andy Millen, James Keatings, Brian Easton, Gary Wales, LJ Akins, Paixao, David Carney, Jose Quitongo, Colin Cramb, Martin McIntosh, Scott McCulloch. Perhaps even Joel Thomas.

Think most of the guys you have mentioned are pretty much at same level, as Accies, fair enough they may have earned more money. Brian Easton for example did OK for a short while made a few bob but has been with Dundee/ St Johnstone

Paul Hartley however is a good shout

Most of them have gone on to play at a higher standard than Scottish Prem/Championship. Even going back as far as Martin McIntosh, he played in the second tier with Stockport County. McCulloch, Carney, Cramb, Akins and possibly Buchanan made it to that level too.
