As assistant manager the brains behind Billy Reid’s management, once he left it was downhill for BR.
Would have welcomed him back here as manager or in the future.

Interesting theory.

Reid was manager for two years before he appointed Taylor as his number two. Reid's most successful season, finishing 7th in the SPL, was after Taylor left. Since they left Accies, Reid has been assistant coach in the biggest rags-to-riches story in European football, while Taylor has done ... what, exactly?
