Whoops, thought I'd changed your ban to be permanent. Guess I didn't. Fixing that now. Cheers!

I notice Dundee United had Gills at right back yesterday with the resulting performance to match judging by the highlights. You would think they would have learned from our mistakes.

He can get to know Mr. Skondras better ;)

Also signed Ross Jenkins https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ross_Jenkins_(footballer,_born_1990)

Left sided defender is good. No idea about Jenkins.

Jenkins, a tall 6ft 3" midfielder?? Must be a mistake. We only have midfielders around 5ft 8".

Hopefully at least one of our new signings will be fit and ready for Sunday and be integrated into the teams tactical system!

Jenkins has a good pedigree having played at a decent level in England has 5 U20 caps and played under both Brendan Rodgers and Malky McKay.
A promising signing, but then again so were a few others.
Maybe he can form a good partnership with Scott, Kozo and Ferguson.

Van Der Weg looks like a useful addition to the first team squad. Jenkins looks like more of a punt - he hardly seems to have played for the last three seasons.

But it's good to have more options and cover. Who knows what our best selection and formation is now? Let's hope we can get our act together quickly.

And, we HAVE made efforts by signing new faces to strengthen the squad for the run-in for that elusive 10th place.

BREAKING DEADLINE DAY NEWS- Skondras is on a 39 month loan to Juventus. No but in all serious a couple of our youth players have moved to Clyde, Ben Hamilton, Tyler Murray and some fat goalkeeper.
