The club have embarrassed themselves with this one again, they knew the fans knew about him so put a statement on the website when they should've just kept quiet until the signing was completed.

Now he's even had the Chamorro treatment of a squad number and squad pics before it's final. Hopefully we get it sorted at some point this week.

If this signing doesn't materialize it will just prove the Club has learned nothing from past mistakes.
Of course sometimes there are things that can happen in transfers.
Especially protracted ones like this involving outside agencies etc.
What they shouldn't be doing is announcing details and pictures of the player in Club colours until he is officially an Accies player.

The problems still haven't been resolved sadly... we are still waiting for The Greater Rhea(that Rod Hull to blame I hear) to come off the roof and pick up The Accies Fax among the 18,000 pieces of paper on the floor next to The only fax machine in the Bolivian FA.

Any chance of an update? We have all known for weeks now that he's been at the club and even had his place in the squad photo why is he still not cleared!? What is the hold up?

He better be worth it after all this.

From the BBC website, this afternoon;

Martin Canning expects Argentine striker Antonio Rojano to be available for Hamilton in the next week or so.

The 26-year-old has been training with Canning's Accies squad since signing last month but is awaiting a work permit to allow him to play.

"I think it will be done in seven to 10 days," said the Hamilton manager.

"I don't see any hiccups whether it will be done, it's just a lengthy process. His attitude has been fantastic, he is working really hard."

Rojano, who scored 15 times for Real Potosi in Bolivia last season, has been struggling with a quad problem but Canning hopes he will soon be fit to boost Accies' attacking options.

"It's a different style of football to him, having come from South America, so hopefully he can adapt pretty quickly and hit the ground running for us," he said.

Meanwhile, Canning expects Hearts to pose a tough challenge in Saturday's Premiership home match.

The Jambos can leapfrog seventh-placed Hamilton if they win in what will be Craig Levein's first away match in charge since replacing Ian Cathro.

"They will all be eager to impress a new manager, especially someone with Craig's stature," said Canning of the Hearts squad.

"All the players will want to be in the team so from the start I would imagine they will be right at it.

"It will be difficult but it's one I believe we can take something from."

The new Aguero will be available in the next 10/56 days definitely maybe.
Meanwhile I can exclusively reveal that Christmas is coming too.

Status update....
Hamilton Advertiser quoting Martin Canning______
"Hopefully in the next 10 days we'll be further forward......As far as I'm led to believe there are no further issues........."
Meanwhile Christmas is fast approaching and also drivers beware of long tailbacks on the Queensferry Crossing.

Rojano better be some player after all this hype. Just hope the high expectations work out in our favour with a 20 goals a season player at last. :D

If his goals to games ratio is half as good as Salva Chammora's was then the wait will all be worthwhile.
Think he will struggle to live up to living legends such as Roy,Diaby ,Congo Chris, Lee Lynch,Sumsky,Augustien, though.
