No 22 on the move

Postby smc4761 » Mon Aug 28, 2017 6:25 pm

Just noticed that Tony Andreu has left Norwich and gone to Coventry for a free. Coventry are in the 4th tier of English football. Whilst they can no doubt pay well, its a bit of a comedown football wise. Surprised Alex did not go back in for him for Preston

I don't think he's a top half of the Championship player, doubt if he'd improve PNE's team.

Prince of trivia, but did you know that if you started following Coventry in 1970, you will not have seen them finish in the top 6 of ANY division? Can they do it in the fourth tier? Won their first two then lost next two, so wouldn't bank on it.

Now that is the kind of trivia I love. Playing in a big empty bowl every other week won't help their cause. They need another Jimmy Hill...FAST.

Andreu is pish.
That's why he's been sent to Coventry.
Couldn't lace Neil Hood's boots.
