2-1 Accies,
Rakish to miss at least 1 sitter.
Various happy clappers to get very excited by the narrowest of victories against a pub team.
IMO.

Can anyone at Albion Rovers confirm that the game will definitely take place?
Seem to remember a faulty kettle caused an Accies game to be postponed there once before.
Left a lot of Accies fans boiling mad at the time I recall.

I heard that the Tatty fella might be re-enacting his puppet show to a new audience, twenty years on from The "Watson years".

He's dead Jim,but not as you know it.

The only surprise here is that people are surprised by this result.
Get over it.
More aptly get used to it.
We are pish.

Horrendous. That's what he gets for fielding a weakened team - and Gray said at the forum last season that we always take the cups seriously!

Since when has constructivity came into play at Accies?
Most Clubs sack pish managers.
We embrace them.

I blame the ghost of Jim Watson for that shambles. No SPL side should lose FOUR goals to a League Two side even more so when you add full-time training to the equation.

We could have drawn all three games and the worrying signs of last season losing late goals seems to be creeping back.

Two goal Shaun Want can't defend,so we shouldn't be relying on him as back up,while some of the under 20 lads didn't look as impressive as a team who were pumped up for that game-like Annan.

Accies started off like at Annan treating it as a given it looked like, until we showed some semblance of urgency. We should be able to rest important players in games like that and still have enough to see it through. The fact we had to bring on important attacking players:Bingham,Templeton and Crawford to try to get the win was worrying as the inability to defend was very noticeable just like Saturday.

Let's hope we learn from this shambolic League Cup group as the fans let them know it was unacceptable.

I, perhaps naïvely, expect us still to win this group. We have Stenny at home, and I fancy QoS to at least not get beaten by Albion Rovers.

It's still pathetic, unacceptable and worrying to draw 4-4 with a team two divisions below you. 0-0 or 1-1 you could put down to unlucky etc, but not 4-4.

Derek McInnes and Tony Docherty tolerated around 17 minutes of that pish on their laptop before switching to A Game of Thrones.

Many accies were there in the crowd of 497 ?? Massive improvement needed to even beat stenny . Out of the cup , pumped of Aberdeen and still no strikers , start of the season looks very gloom indeed .

The board need to back their manager otherwise the fans will be on the players back within 2 games of the season .

Rovers are a League One side YOH, this is their third season at that level. Hearts were beaten by a League Two side and took some of the heat off of us.
