I went to my first game for a few years against Partick and will be travelling up today.
Looking forward to it.

Could be a bit farcical if the 40-50 mph winds forecast during the game are correct. Avoiding defeat will do me, can't really see us going six ahead of ninth but it would be a lovely Christmas present.

Well you were spot on, both about it being farcical and your lack of faith in us going six ahead of Dunfermline. Any of the top five would've comfortably dealt with a poor Dunfermline side today, but sadly we're part of the garbage in the bottom half.

Failing to even hold on for a draw summed up a miserable game.

Just as I have after our previous abject performances this season, I defy anyone to come on here and make a case for keeping Rankin as our manager.

We are going backwards at an alarming rate and unfortunately I still believe there is every chance that he will drag us back to League one AGAIN. His "brand"of football is garbage, negative dross that is so easy to play against .

We all know we are stuck with him, which is why the crowds continue to decline. Sadly following Accies has become a chore and attending games is down to blind loyalty, nothing more. The support is not with him and it's clear much of the squad are not either.

Today was a new low, but I fear there is worse to come unfortunately! Yes the conditions were poor but that is no excuse and makes the way we approached the game even more baffling. Grim!

You’ve pretty much said everything I came on to say. Excellent post, and sums up fans feelings. 153 fans there today, speaks volumes although the weather and closeness to Christmas may have contributed.

We looked like we had a very good chance right on half time when it looked like Shaw only needed a touch to put it in. Be interesting to see it back.

Williamson getting game time again!! I genuinely wouldn’t have him in a five a side team down the palace grounds.

I’m already dreading going to Falkirk in a fortnights time.

At least I made some cash with McGinty anytime goalscorer at 25/1.

Why is John Rankin still in his job. He is terrible and is outsmarted so often by managers that understand tactics. It’s just plain ridiculous how he survives.

Hard to stick up for Rankin when he continues to give Ben Williamson time on the pitch. An utter dud. And Williamson is too! Not the manager's fault that Oli chose yesterday to pass up two great chances to put us ahead, Pars fans elsewhere say his second, laid on a plate for him by O'Hara, was the miss of the season. Losing to a very unimpressive team hurts, especially on a horrible day like yesterday when it would've been easy not to make the effort and go. I fear it will be five losses in a row before we play Airdrie on the 28th. We are relying on them to keep losing, and fair play to them, they are!

One other thing, how has he been allowed to sign three left sided wide men in Bradley, O'Connor and McKinstray and he barely plays any of them?

Rankin has no idea how to utilise Oli Shaw. Our set up means long balls are punted up to him and he's expected to create something from that. Yeah, he had an off day yesterday but he's a guy that chases lost causes every game for us and without his goals we would be down where Airdrie are.

I have a couple of mates who support Killie,. When we signed Shaw, they both said the same thing, he's not great one on one with a keeper but a good predator at Championship level providing he gets decent service. When we as fans are sitting in the stands, we can see where the problems are and what needs to change. We can't all be wrong. Rankin either can't see it or simply refuses to change. Either way, very bad news for Accies.

Sitting in far too deep is something a lot of fans were shouting about again yesterday. When defending we never leave anyone up. I noticed a few times yesterday Smith signaling to the bench asking if he should stay up when we were defending corners, only to be barked at by Rankin to get back. You could clearly see his shoulders drop thinking what's the point.

The players just look as scunnered and frustrated as the travelling fans. Much of this is down to Rankins management in my view.

It was a bloody slog to go yesterday to sit in terrible conditions. In the run up to Christmas our time and money could have been better spent. We don't expect much as Accies fans, but our crowds speak volumes. Sure the board will continue to tell us we are wrong though.

On the subject of the board, we are now well into December, where are the 150th anniversary announcements and promised merch? Buy the kids stuff for Christmas? Lookng less likely each day. Total shambles as we all know we are skint

I think the only thing keeping Rankrotten safe in his job just now is that Airdrie are even more shite than we are. As long as he can get 9th place and take his chance in a play of, Rankrotten and Seref will be happy.

Leading up to Christmas and a hammering at hands of Falkirk expected, I can see crowds getting even lower.

To those who go to the games, I salute you. I know we have to support the team through the good and bad times, but enough is enough
