Simple - it’s a must win game to make the gap bigger. If we don’t win we could be in a relegation dogfight as the teams below us are winning games….

Airdrie haven't won since the opening day and that must continue on Saturday. A draw would be disappointing. Win and we're ten points clear of bottom and can start focusing on the race for the play offs. He surely must go with the team that was on the park when we scored the three goals, don't even think about starting Williamson or O'Hara!

As mentioned, a pretty simple opinion, we win - we begin to open up a gap to the bottom. We lose - we find ourselves right in amongst those at the bottom.

It'll be a pretty tight game, either 0-0 or 1-0 Accies.

We need to take the confidence from the last win into this game and finish them off this time!

Winnable game for sure.

A very fun game. You could see how fired up the players were at the start and the more than reaped the rewards for that. Massive indeed.

Brilliant result. Started the game really positively and rewarded when we scored the early goal. Could, and probably should, have been three up in opening 15 mins.

Airdrie then pinned us in but simple balls over the top saw us time and time again threatening to score. It’s been a long time since accies have had that many chances in one game.

Despite all the chances created, albinson had a few great saves. The one at the end of the first half looked special.

Mcginty was great, full backs were good and shaw was extremely unlucky not to score. I criticised Connor smith last week, well this week he was brilliant. Also thought Bradley played well - particularly in first half. Scotty Martin his usual imperious self. O’hara took his goal well, although he had an indifferent game overall. Hope Kilday’s injury isn’t too serious as a better team will punish McGowans lack of pace.

Really chuffed with the win and airdrie look doomed.

Airdrie 0 Hamilton Accies 4. That really takes me back to the 80s! An amazing first half, it could've been 5-0 or 2-2. They forced, by my count, twelve corners but we had so many chances on the break to get a third. Oli actually missed a sitter. Charlie Albinson. If ever a goalie gave a ten out of ten display, this was it. An incredible looking save from our end in the first half, stunning reflexes which continued into the second half. Take a bow, son. The whole defence did well, McGinty again imperious. Connor had his best game since returning, Hendrie only hooked because he was booked presumably, Tumilty much better, Bradley best yet, Scotty Martin superb. O'Hara, still a bit infuriating but glad he got a goal, hopefully he will get confidence from that. I think it was McGowan who saved a certain goal shortly after he came on with a great block.

Oh and those Airdrie neds really can't take it, can they? But please don't ban them, they deserve to suffer.

A massive result and a big big confidence boost to everyone.

A great first ten minutes scoring two good goals. After that I’d say the first half was pretty open and we were out under a lot of pressure from Airdrie. Albinson had a great save right before halftime which, if it had went in, totally changes the feeling at half time.

Also first half, imo, the ref bottled sending off their number 28 for a second booking when he wiped out Kilday resulting in him going off five minutes later. McCabe took him off right after it which tells you he thought he was lucky too.

Still felt the game was still in the balance at half time with the next goal being crucial.

Second half, two more good goals and we never really looked like conceding. Airdrie look poor this season and McCabe has a big job on his hands.

Fans great today, backed the team for ninety minutes. A good day out for all. The younger ones create noise and a good atmosphere. However, don’t stoop to the level of the Airdrie fans. Leave them to look like the dicks they are.

Just one negative comment from me...

It was disappointing that Rankin couldn't even bring himself to give a youngster, Morgan, some minutes even when we were 3-0 up with 20 minutes to go. The experience would've done him a lot more good than it did Todorov and we're not gonna have many better opportunities to throw a kid on this season.

Yep, I wasn’t happy at that either and he could have brought him on for O’Hara.

Those who couldn’t be bothered going missed what I feel was our best away performance team wise since winning 3-1 at Easter Road.

Confidence is a big thing in football and we are now overflowing in it which is needed as 3 very difficult games incoming.

Also agree with you, 1874.

We were never going to loose this game at that stage, so why, John, keep a talented Morgan permanently on the bench?? Even the last 10 minutes would have boosted his confidence, apart from his young fresh legs, running at an Airdire, (a suitable name) tiring defence. Todorov????? He is yet to show us why he was signed.

Accies went from 1935-1984 without a win at Airdrie. In 84/85 we won 1-0, then won 4-0, 2-1, 3-0 & 4-1. Five in a row. We also won 4-0 away in 2012 and of course today. I've seen six of those and today was right up there with our very best. Four of those came in our league wins of 85/86 & 87/88.

Gutted to have missed the game due to illness. Was really fed up this morning, but the reports coming from the game and obviously the result, fairly cheered me up.

Hopefully we can kick on and go on a wee run of form in the build up to the 150th "celebrations" in December

I couldnt make the game either today unfortunately, but absolutley delighted with the result.
Happy to see a good number of shots in the stats today from us also.

Really hoping we continue to build on it going into our next run of games, confidence should be high and quite rightly so.

Well done Accies.

Superb presentation, something we should aspire to. Our home coverage has started off well but camera could zoom in a bit more. Our coverage yesterday was at pitch level, no idea why we couldn't be in the stand.
